Peoples’ United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Executive Committee said, “The Rojava Revolution is a revolution in which the Kurdish people seek and make a way through their own experiences and practices. It is the address of the hope of a new life, arising from the impossibility of the peoples against the old, rotten capitalist world. The Rojava Revolution is a revolution in which the Kurdish, Arab, Armenian, Turkmen, Assyrian, Assyrian and Chechen peoples exist with the will to live together, build together and fight together as free, equal, against the policies of colonialism and the enmity of peoples.
A revolution that changed the fate and curse of the land and geography in which it was born. It is stated that women, who are subordinated in these lands as in the world, whose will is ignored, who live the destiny determined for them by the male-dominated system, are at the center of the revolution; It is also a women’s revolution with its gender libertarian character. Here is the Rojava Revolution; With this existence, it is the growing hope of peoples and women in search of freedom and liberation. On the 11th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, we salute the revolutionary struggle of the peoples and women with revolutionary enthusiasm and determination!”
The HBDH statement said, “We bow respectfully before the struggles of the peoples, women, Kurdish freedom guerrillas, internationalist revolutionaries from Turkey, and internationals who came from all over the world to be comrades in the struggle of the peoples of Rojava.”
ROJAVA REVOLUTION IS THE HOPE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD
The following issues were also included in the statement of the HBDH Executive Committee:
“Today, the crisis of hegemony in the imperialist-capitalist system has led to the evolution of conflicts between imperialist powers into wars in many parts of the world. We are faced with the reality of a world in which peoples are pitted against each other, and reactionary alliances and blocs are experienced. On the other hand, the oppressed peoples, the working class, the laborers and women are also shaking the world with their search for freedom. The Rojava Revolution revived hope for the peoples of the world to take their own destiny into their own hands. On the other hand, it is not natural for a revolution that stands as a practical equivalent of a new life in the region and the world to be the target of imperialist powers, reactionary and fascist forces in the region. Because the Rojava Revolution; The region and the world are the Stalingrad of its time in the face of reactionary, fascist forces. FSA, these forces, which tried but failed to crush the dynamics and hopes of the Rojava Revolution with the help of Al Nusra and ISIS, are now partners in the uninterrupted war policies, siding directly with the fascist Turkish state. The fascist Turkish state sees the Rojava Revolution as a question of survival and attacks with all its might to destroy it. Every attack on Rojava turns inward as deepening exploitation, intensifying policies of impoverishment, high cost of living, deprivation of freedom, increasing fascist terror and violence. The war waged by the AKP-MHP fascist government in Kurdistan, including Rojava, on the basis of the “Plan of Collapse” is the policy of institutionalizing the fascist dictatorship. The AKP-MHP fascist government’s attacks on Rojava are directly against Turkish workers, peoples, women and all revolutionary and democratic forces.
It is the same fascist state that carries out the concept of an occupying-destructive war against the Rojava Revolution and condemns the working class in Turkey to deep exploitation and impoverishes the people under the price hikes and taxes. This state; It is the one who wages war against the existence of women and maintains the policy of killing women by intensifying the exploitation and male-dominated violence on women. It is the one who tries to take the youth by condemning them to a precarious and uncertain life, by besieging them with the attack of futurity. It is the one who aims to spread religious-reactionaryism to the capillaries of the society and to create fascist sociality by religiousizing daily life through sects and communities. With the rent-looting policies that turned the earthquake into a massacre and the concept of destruction and war against the Kurdish people, the perpetrator of the racist-fascist practices developed against immigrants is the same state. This state is fed by colonial, dominating, male-dominated, racist and nationalist codes. Just as we cannot ignore Rojava in our struggle against AKP-MHP fascism, we cannot separate the war policies against the Rojava Revolution from the equation of struggle in Turkey. The united struggle and victory of the peoples can be won with a truth that sees and creates each other in their own struggles rather than a slogan. In this respect, defending the Rojava Revolution and opposing the occupying and colonialist war policy of the fascist AKP-MHP government is the litmus of being a revolutionary in Turkey.
WE RESPECT 33 DREAMS
With this historical awareness and responsibility, there were those who set out on 20 July 2015. Those who went to join the Rojava Revolution by nullifying the fences and borders undoubtedly ignited the fuse that would shake the founding codes of the fascist state. The internationalist revolutionaries from Turkey, who knew the Rojava Revolution as their own, flowed there, fought and shed their blood, and the dream travelers who set out to build this revolution, also bridged the united revolution of the peoples. Socialist youth gathered in Suruç’s Amara Park to move to Kobane with the slogan “We defended together, we will build together”. At the same time, they wanted to understand and see the Rojava Revolution and to include it in themselves. They were there to bring together the revolutionary dynamics of Gezi and the dynamics and hopes of the Rojava Revolution and to be a bridge. The bombs, pinned by the fascist Turkish state with the hands of ISIS, in Amara Park separated 33 dream travelers from us. We respectfully commemorate the 33 dream travelers on the 8th anniversary of their murder, and reiterate our promise to lead the revolution to victory by sticking to their struggle!
33 dream travelers; They became a part of the revolution by following the footsteps of countless dream travelers who fought against this darkness and fascism, who gave life to the revolution with their blood, who defended and kept the Rojava Revolution alive. By making sense of the reality of the revolution with their own struggles, they became a memory and guide of our unified struggle history. They exposed the false revolutionism of those who closed their eyes to the colonial and occupation attacks of the Turkish Republic and to the reality of Kurdistan, and by adding themselves to the reality of the struggle of the two revolutions, they became the badge of a revolutionary struggle line. This is exactly why they have been the leaven of our united revolution, the soldiers of our united revolutionary struggle. Today, we are raising and will raise our united revolutionary struggle with commitment to the dreams, goals and ideals of the 33’s!
The peoples of North-East Syria continue to defend and build the Rojava Revolution with their women and youth in the face of the uninterrupted war waged by the fascist Turkish state. With the slogan of “Justice for Suruç, justice for all”, the youth, who have woven the consciousness of asking the account of Suruç, continue their resistance and struggle with determination. The will to overthrow the AKP-MHP fascist government is only possible through organizing and enlarging the united struggle of the peoples. To embrace and defend the Rojava Revolution and hold Suruç to account, while at the same time opposing the domination and exploitation policies of the AKP-MHP fascist government, the only solution to overthrow fascism is to raise the line of revolutionary warfare. On this basis, as the People’s United Revolutionary Movement, we will organize revolutionary violence in the cities, streets and mountains with our militia and guerrilla forces.
