We would like to express our gratitude to all the Comrades from collectives, political groups, hangouts, squatters/occupations, individuals, from Greece and abroad, from collectives, groups, hangouts, and individuals from Greece and abroad, including Europe and America, who responded to our call for financial support regarding the health problems of our relative. We are deeply thankful for the support we have received, as the current situation has significant implications not only for our family but also for us as political prisoners.
It is important to note that we are facing this challenging time while our detention, resulting from the action of the Revolutionary Struggle, continues. Despite this, we would like to acknowledge that one of us, Nikos Maziotis, has exceeded the parole limit and could have been released.
The amount we requested through the firefund website has far exceeded our expectations. We want to extend our thanks to all those who not only provided financial support through firefund but also organized political events, concerts, support bars, political cafes, rebetiko feasts, and more. Furthermore, we would like to express our gratitude to all those who have stood by us morally and materially, offering their presence and assistance in various ways.
Solidarity, mutual aid, and reciprocity are the fundamental principles of revolutionary movements and the society we aspire to create, one that exists beyond the constraints of the state and capital. These principles have been inherent in human society since its inception, long before the emergence of the state and social class divisions. Solidarity was once the prevailing value by which people structured their social lives and relationships. It remains a value that opposes individualism, competition, and the pursuit of power and profit upon which the state and capitalism are built. As fighters, we embrace solidarity, mutual aid, and reciprocity as innate values that guide our daily lives and actions.
Comrades, thank you!
