Palestine Fights On. Israel and Washington Attempt Genocidal Campaign

Hamas fighters, having launched one of the most daring and impressive acts of resistance in Palestinian history, continued their resistance operations against occupation forces. The conflict threatens to spiral into a larger regional or even global war, as America and its European puppets have unequivocally backed the Zionist regimes genocidal intentions in the Gaza Strip.

The resistance has left almost 1000 settlers and their forces dead through the guerrilla campaign. This is the first direct conflict inside the 1948 borders since the Naqba — the foundation of the Zionist occupation and the destruction of Palestinian society. The guerrillas also managed to detain over 100 occupiers in the campaign.

Guerrilla factions managed to continue resisting inside the 1948 borders into the night as the Zionist state struggles to regain control.

However, the occupations relentless aerial and artillery bombing campaign, almost exclusively, of civilian targets, has resulted in huge casualties. There have been estimated 700+ Palestinian deaths, almost 3000 wounded, and 140,000 displaced from the Zionist aggression.

Furthermore, the occupation has cut off all water, food, and electricty into the territory, marking this as one of the most heinous war crimes in the 21st century. The regime has also called up 300,000 reserves to invade and assault the Gaza Strip. These crimes, as regularly witnessed, are done in complete complicity with the United States and its client states in Europe. Washington also moved a warship to the region to menace resistance forces in solidarity with the racist, colonial project.

The Lion’s Den guerrilla organization called for a mass mobilization in the West Bank and there were several protests and armed actions in response.

At the border with Lebanon skirmishes and artillery fire were exchanged between fighters and the occupiers. Several top Zionist commaders were killed and a few Hezbollah combatants fell in defense of the struggle.

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces sent a message to Palestinian fighters stating, “We stand with you.”

The Iraqi Badr Organization warned, “If Washington interferes in the battle between the Israeli regime and Palestine, we will strike all American targets.”

While the Yemeni Houthi rebels stated, “We warn America that any intervention in Palestine will lead to a regional war.”

Hamas, in response to the indiscriminate bombing campaign, warned that they would begin executions of the captives if the bombing campaign continues.

Later in the night, the Zionist regime launched an assault against Nablus in the West Bank and was meeting fierce resistance.

If the occupation does what it threatens the scale of suffering will be immense. It is likely only further escalation and resistance will be able to stop the West’s genocidal drive for global war.
