Two Paramilitaries Killed in Naxalite Ambushes in India

The explosion of an IED launched by Maoists killed a paramilitary of the Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) and injured two others while a squad of the paramilitary forces carried out an anti-maoist operation in the state of Jharkhand, this Friday. The ambush took place around 2:30 p.m. when a CRPF detachment, accompanied by members of other security forces, was raiding in a forest area of the West Singhbhum District.

An ambush of the same type caused the death of an Indo Tibetan Border Police paramilitaries (ITBP). The explosion struck the escort of an electoral convoy near the village of Bader Gobra, in the district of Bindranawagarh, in the Gariaband district.
