The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the introduction of a new actionable decision in support of Gaza, which will see the prohibition of all ships bound to the occupation entity, regardless of their nationality, from passing through the Arabian and Red seas until food and medicine sufficient to the needs of the population enter the besieged Strip.
In a statement, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree declared that this prohibition is “effective immediately,” noting that Sanaa, “out of its commitment to the safety of maritime navigation, warns all ships and companies against dealing with ‘Israeli’ ports.”
“The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasize their full commitment to the continuity of global trade movement through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea for all ships and all countries, except those ships associated with Israel or those that will transport goods” to the occupation entity.
It is worth noting that the spokesperson did not void the earlier equation, which constitutes that the Yemeni army will continue targeting Zionist ships in the Red Sea until the war on Gaza stops.
Commenting on the announcement, Zionist media confirmed that Sanaa’s announcement preventing any ship from reaching Israeli ports is considered “an escalation up a notch and a very serious event,” calling it a significant issue for the entire world. This entails a recognition of the size of the impact this announcement may cause.
Yemen’s recent decision to prohibit any ship from reaching Zionist ports via the Arabian and Red seas is a response and public rejection to the US veto on a UNSC resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the Yemeni Information Minister Daifallah al-Shami stated.
In a video interview, the Minister pointed out that Washington “declared it is leading the war and siege on Gaza,” adding that the Yemeni Armed Force’s announcement is “the least that should be done in support of our people in the Gaza Strip.”
However, the Minister explained the decision can only be annulled when a “permanent and comprehensive support mechanism for the Palestinian people is established.”
Regarding the action plan, he stressed that the Yemeni army has a comprehensive database of international maritime activities, and all vessels are “completely secure except for ships heading to the occupation.”
On that note, al-Shami warned that it is not in the interest of any country to respond to the occupation’s call to “form a naval force to protect its ships,” as Sanaa cannot be intimidated or deterred by any such coalition.
Furthermore, he emphasized that Yemen “has all the capabilities to stand in solidarity with our people in Palestine” and emphasized that Sanaa “cannot allow ships to transport medicine and food to the occupation, while it is prohibited to Palestinians.”
“What matters to us in our stances in support of Palestine is God’s satisfaction, and we know that the enemies have great power, but we have prepared as much strength as we could.”
Some Palestinian Resistance factions released statements of praise to their comrades in Yemen. Palestinian Islamic Jihad, for instance, called it “an authentic Arab and Islamic position, at a historic moment,” while “condemn[ing] the Arab impotence and its subordination to the zionist and American positions.” The Mujahideen Movement stated they “highly appreciate the brave and authentic Yemeni decision.”
In regard to the American behavior at the UN the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated that the use of the veto “was expected,” since the US had a “history filled with crimes of cleansing, massacres, and genocide against the indigenous population of Native Americans.” The veto “reveal[ed] again that America is the head of the snake and the most evil criminal in the world.” They concluded stating that “striking American bases and interests everywhere, and the expulsion of the occupation forces from the region, must remain a primary goal for our people.”
Armed Resistance
The Palestinian resistance continues to bravely confront the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip. The resistance has inflicted heavy losses on the enemy in terms of human lives and equipment, marking the 64th day of their struggle.
Al-Qassam Brigades declared on Friday evening that their fighters had successfully destroyed 21 occupation military vehicles across all fighting axes in Gaza. They also thwarted a rescue attempt for the captured occupation soldier, “Sa’ar Baruch,” resulting in his death, along with several other Zionist prisoners being injured due to the brutal bombing of Gaza areas.
Al- Qassam resistance fighters targeted the occupation forces and their vehicles penetrating concentration and positioning sites with anti-fortified shells and anti-personnel devices. They engaged in close-quarters combat, causing significant casualties among the enemy ranks.
Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that their fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with the occupation forces using machine guns and anti-armor shells in the eastern advance axes of Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah.
They confirmed that their fighters have successfully targeted nine military vehicles, two troop carriers, and a Type D9 military bulldozer in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as Gaza, Deir al-Balah, and Khan Yunis. The brigades also carried out missile attacks on occupied cities, settlements, and occupation military sites.
All other esistance factions noted successful attacks today as well.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced today that its fighters carried out 10 operations, targeting several Zionist military sites along the Lebanese-Palestinian border in support of the Palestenian people in Gaza and in solidarity with the valiant Palestenian Resistance.
Iraq’s Islamic Resistance issued on Saturday a statement to announce 11 attacks on the US bases in Iraq and Syrian during the past 24 hours.
In response to the enemy’s crimes committed against our people in Gaza, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted US occupation bases in Iraq and Syria in eleven operations yesterday. It pounded them with dozens of rockets and drones, hitting its targets directly, the statement read.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq affirmed the continuation of its operations against the occupation forces until the last soldier is expelled from our country, as they suffer the consequences of defeat and loss.
In a statement on Telegram, a senior official in the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, Abu Ali Al-Askari, confirmed that the Resistance operations against the US occupation will continue until the last soldier is expelled from Iraq.
Abu Ali al-Askari explained that “yesterday’s operations mark the start of a new phase of confrontations, and the coming days will determine the intensity of our response.”
“Any foolishness from the American enemy will be met with severe retaliatory measures and an expansion of operations.”
