Spontaneous Demonstration by Kurdish and Internationalist Youth in Kreuzberg, Berlin
It was with great joy that we followed the revolutionary offensive of the guerrillas in Zap, in the Girê Cûdî resistance area, and organized a spontaneous, unannounced demonstration in Kreuzberg, Berlin on Saturday evening.
Within a very short time, the Turkish occupying army in South Kurdistan was dealt a second heavy defeat, which is why the Turkish state leadership is seething with rage and demanding retribution. We see the resistance being put up by our friends in the mountains and on the plains of Kurdistan as a great sign for all freedom-loving people around the world. Since the unilateral termination of the peace negotiations by the Turkish state and the subsequent policy of military annihilation from 2015, the second largest NATO army has neither succeeded in breaking the Kurdish people’s will to resist nor in crushing the freedom movement. Just as the guerrillas have instead taken the initiative in recent weeks, it is also up to us to take the initiative now and make our contribution to the fight against Turkish fascism and for the immediate release of Abdullah Öcalan.
Kurdistan will be the graveyard of fascism!!
