The Palestinian Resistance engaged occupation forces in the Gaza Strip for the 136th day, since the latter launched their aggression on the Palestinian territory.
Resistance fighters from multiple Resistance factions launched individual and joint operations in the northern Gaza Strip and Khan Younis in the south.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Monday that its sniper units shot down two occupation soldiers while others targeted an infantry unit with assault rifles, killing and injuring members of the force positioned to the west of the city of Khan Younis.
Al-Qassam fighters also successfully targeted an infantry force consisting of 15 troops, positioned in a building in the Hawwas area to the west of Khan Younis. Resistance fighters fired one rocket-propelled grenade and an anti-personnel shell at the force, confirming that the attack resulted in several casualties, while some wounded soldiers could be heard screaming in agony.
In a joint operation, al-Qassam Brigades and al-Mujahideen Brigades fighters targeted a multirole Zionist Hermes 900 drone with a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile to the southwest of Gaza City.
Al-Mujahideen Brigades fighters also launched a joint operation with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades, targeting a convoy of military vehicles to the east of Jabalia.
Meanwhile, al-Mujahideen Brigades published scenes of its fighters targeting a gathering of occupation soldiers and vehicles east of Jabalia city, northern Gaza Strip, in collaboration with al-Quds Brigades, using a heavy machine gun to do so.
On the other hand, al-Quds Brigades fighters launched several 107 mm-type rockets toward groupings of soldiers, positioned to the east of the central Gaza Strip, in “Nitzanim”.
The Palestinian Resistance continues to directly confront occupation forces that invaded the Gaza Strip in late October 2023. Despite far-inferior weapons and equipment, these fighters have continued to launch ground operations across several axes in the Gaza Strip, dealing heavy casualties to occupation forces.
Late on Monday, Zionist media outlets said that a soldier serving under the Paratroopers Brigades was killed after he succumbed to his wounds in a hospital. The soldier was wounded at an earlier time in the southern Gaza Strip. His death brings the total number of killed Zionist troops to 575 since October 7. However, it is widely known that Zionist casualties are hidden by their military and media.
Ansarallah naval operations continue
The Naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted a military operation last night, targeting the British ship RUBYMAR in the Gulf of Aden, utilizing several appropriate naval missiles. The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Yahya Saree, reported that the operation resulted in catastrophic damage to the ship, putting it initially at risk of sinking. It eventually submerged into the ocean.
Saree reiterated that the operation was carried out in support of the oppressed Palestinian people enduring aggression and siege, and in response to the American-British aggression against Yemen.
The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that as part of the operation, they ensured the safe evacuation of the ship’s crew, underscoring that all personnel had reached safety.
US intelligence-collection asset MQ9 downed in Hodeidah
The YAF spokesperson also confirmed that the Yemeni Air Defense successfully downed the US intelligence-collection asset which also serves against dynamic execution targets, the MQ9 Reaper UAV in Hodeidah. The US military asset “carrying out hostile missions against our country on behalf of the Zionist entity” was shot down using the appropriate rockets.
“The Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to take more military measures and carry out more qualitative operations against all hostile targets in defense of beloved Yemen and in confirmation of the position of support for the Palestinian people,” Saree stressed, adding “The operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red and Arab Bahrain will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
It is noteworthy that this is the third high-tech drone shot down by the Axis of Resistance since October 7. The MQ-9 drone is capable of carrying multiple missiles and has been reportedly used in high-profile assassination plots conducted by the United States in the region. The system costs the US around $32 million.
The fact that multiple factions of the Axis of Resistance have now proved their ability to take down the high-tech system sheds light on the Resistance’s ability to confront the world’s most advanced military, using available and limited resources.
