The Ghoul Rifle: A Nightmare for Zionist Officers and Soldiers

The Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, have consistently immortalized the names of their great leaders in the memory of Palestinian struggle spanning decades, as their sacrifices and significant contributions have marked a milestone in the history of the struggle with the zionist occupying enemy, advancing the jihadist project in Palestine towards the innovation and production of new military tools and capabilities to confront the zionist occupation supported by all forces of evil in the world.

The name “Ghoul” emerged since the early days of the zionist ground aggression on the Gaza Strip, as the Al-Qassam Brigades announced several sniper operations targeting the occupation’s officers and soldiers across various axes of the incursion in the Gaza Strip with the Qassami Ghoul rifle. Al-Qassam snipers demonstrated high skill and extreme precision in reaping their heads, dropping them dead in various battlefields within the Gaza Strip.

Specifications of the Ghoul Rifle
The Ghoul rifle is known for its effective impact, range, and precise targeting, with a lethal range of about 1,500 meters, using 12.7 mm caliber ammunition, and with a length of 1.5 meters.

It is considered one of the world’s advanced sniper rifles in terms of lethal range and ammunition caliber, compared to the Russian Dragunov rifle with a 7.62 mm caliber and a lethal range of 1,200 meters, and the Austrian Steyr sniper rifle with a 12.7 mm caliber and a lethal range of 1,500 meters.

The rifle has proven great capabilities and high effectiveness, generating widespread reactions over the past weeks, following the military reports published by the Al-Qassam Brigades and documented by the lenses of the military media about its use by Al-Qassam snipers with high proficiency against the occupation’s officers and soldiers.

The First Announcement
The pupils of the leader engineer Adnan Al-Ghoul honored their teacher continuing his path and following his approach. They insisted on engraving his name on a unique sniper rifle that reaps the necks of the usurping zionists and instills terror in the hearts of the criminal soldiers, just as their teacher “Abu Bilal” did before his martyrdom, as in 2014, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced one of the surprises of the Al-Qassami industries, produced locally by its fighters.

The Al-Qassam Brigades revealed the Ghoul sniper rifle for the first time during the Asf Al-Ma’koul battle in 2014, which lasted for 51 days between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation army in the Gaza Strip, after Al-Qassam snipers executed several precise and successful sniper operations against zionist soldiers from long distances, as shown in videos of sniping operations of  soldiers during the ground incursion into the Gaza Strip.

Key Participation
The Brigades also unveiled a complex security operation named “Al-I’ama” [“Blinding”], executed by Al-Qassam snipers during the Saif Al-Quds [“Sword of Al-Quds”] battle in 2021, targeting the occupation’s observation and surveillance towers along the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip with the occupied lands, significantly disrupting the occupation’s movements throughout the days of the Saif Al-Quds battle.

The scenes showed Al-Qassam snipers targeting the zionist surveillance systems on the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip wit precise qualitative operations using Al-Qassam Ghoul rifles in the early hours of the battle, destroying several of them with direct and accurate hits, causing the zionist surveillance and observation systems to go out of service.

The Ghoul During Al-Aqsa Flood
The name of the Al-Qassam Ghoul sniper rifle reemerged during the Al-Aqsa Flood battle amid the ground aggression and incursions by the occupation’s army across various areas of the Strip. Since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, the Al-Qassam Brigades have published 30 military reports including 57 sniper missions, 34 of which were carried out with the Qassami Ghoul rifle, resulting in dozens of the occupation’s soldiers and officers being killed in various combat axes inside the Gaza Strip.
Military media for the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcasted numerous video clips of sniper operations, executed with great skill and precision in different battlefields. One of the clips showed the sniping of a zionist officer with the Ghoul Qassami rifle east of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip and his death inside his tank.
Another clip showed an Al-Qassam sniper targeting one of the enemy’s snipers in a building as he targeted his civilian victims in the Tal Al-Hawa area southwest of Gaza City, while other scenes showed the Al-Qassam sniper precisely selecting his target, choosing one of the enemy’s officers from a group of soldiers in the university area west of Gaza City and killing him.
The Al-Qassam sniper operations demonstrated the fundamental and ethical difference between Al-Qassam snipers, who precisely select their military targets, reaping the lives of the invading Nazi officers and soldiers, and the enemy’s snipers who deliberately kill civilians, including women and children, in streets, schools, and hospitals.
Sniping and Field Operations
In the areas where the occupation asserted that it had secured control in the north of the Gaza Strip and Gaza City, the escalation of field operations executed by Al-Qassam Brigades formations and specialties became apparent, notably sniping, in addition to artillery and anti-tank weapons, by encircling the enemy’s soldier and vehicle deployment areas in north of the Gaza valley.
Al-Qassam fighters’ redeployment was evident through the sniping operations carried out by Al-Qassam snipers in recent days in the southern areas of Gaza City, making the occupation’s officers and soldiers a favorite hunting for Al-Qassam snipers, who execute their deadly operations in just a few minutes before withdrawing from their current positions in search of another prey in a different area.
Holding onto the land is the most important factor in deciding the battle, not its temporary occupation or control. History and recent past tell us that victory allies with the just cause and the longer breath, which is certainly the landowner and not its occupier.
Al-Qassam’s creativity in the field was preceded by the creativity of the minds and wrists of Al-Qassam engineers in military manufacturing workshops and laboratories, where the minds and inventions of military manufacturing fighters converged from the beginnings until today. In a gesture of loyalty to the faithful, the names of our leaders were immortalized on our local industries by which we reap the heads of the zionist aggressors.
