The battlefronts in Gaza continue to witness fierce confrontations and successive resistance operations for over 140 days, with more recent combat against occupation forces being in the southern regions of the Strip and Gaza City.
On Sunday confrontations were concentrated in the eastern and western areas of the city of Khan Younis, and al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City.
Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters detonated an explosive device, targeting a group of 15 soldiers inside a house in Abasan al-Kabira in Khan Younis, killing and injuring them.
In a separate statement, the Resistance group revealed that it had struck an Merkava tank using an al-Yassin 105 charge and opened fire from point-blank range on 4 soldiers in the same area.
Meanwhile, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that its fighters successfully sniped a soldier in the east Khan Younis front.
580 IOF soldiers killed since October 7
Al-Quds Brigades had announced on Sunday that it carried out a significant Resistance operation in the Abasan al-Kabira area.
The Brigades said their fighters targeted a bulldozer with a Barq-type explosive device, then targeted a Merkava tank with a Tandem shell, eliminating its crew from point-blank range.
Additionally, the group’s military media released footage showing the salvos of rockets launched at Zionist military gatherings in the combat zones south of Gaza City.
In its latest report on Sunday, the occupation forces admitted that 580 of their soldiers and officers have been killed since October 7, while 240 have been killed since the Zionist military invaded the Gaza Strip in late October 2023.
Hezbollah Resistance operations intensify
Hezbollah downed on Monday a Zionist drone Hermes 450, the third largest unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), over south Lebanon’s Iqlim Al-Tuffah area.
The resistance group’s Military Media Center issued a video that illustrates info on the Zionist target.
Known in Hebrew and by the occupation as the ‘Zik’, the Hermes 450 is a medium-sized multi-payload UAV that is used by the occupation’s Air Force as a surveillance and attack drone.
The video also offers detailed data on the drone’s missions, specifications and features, in a clear indication that the Lebanese resistance group is fully aware and informed about Zionist military capabilities.
The Resistance said in its statement that the downing of the drone “could be seen with the naked eye”, and confirmed that “the eyes of its fighters will remain wide awake, will continue repelling the ‘Israeli’ occupation’s drones, and prevent the achievement of its aggressive goals.”
Earlier, Zionist media reported that alarm sirens sounded in the Marj Ebn-Amer in the “Afoula” region, noting that anti-air systems repelled the surface-to-air missile launched from Lebanon.
Zionist media initially claimed that the missile launched from Lebanon against the UAV missed. However, Hezbollah’s statement confirmed the contrary.
Hezbollah announced Monday that it engaged the headquarters of the occupation forces’ Golan Division in Nafah, the occupied Syrian Golan. The momentous attack saw Hezbollah launching 60 Grad rockets toward the base.
The attack was in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance in Gaza as well as in response to the Zionistaggression in the vicinity of the northern Lebanese city of Baalbek and its attacks on Lebanon’s villages and civilian homes, Hezbollah said in a statement regarding the attack.
Reports all over Zionist media addressed the event, saying Hezbollah launched several rockets on several occasions toward an occupation forces base in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights with explosions being heard in the area.
Zionist media reported that air raid sirens were sounded in the settlements of “Kidmat Tsvi”, “Sha’al”, and “Ortal” in the occupied Syrian Golan.
What is the Nafah military base?
The Nafah base in the occupied Syrian Golan includes the headquarters of the 210th Golan regional division and the headquarters of the 474th regional brigade, in addition to the health centre of the 474th regional brigade.
The base also includes the Oz Brigade camp, the headquarters of the 77th Armored Battalion, and part of the 209th artillery regiment in the occupation forces.
Nafah also houses a forward divisional headquarters, which operates in emergencies, and a forward command for formations operating in the Syrian direction, in addition to ground formations of troops trained in the occupied Golan camps.
On the logistical side, the military base includes a command and tactical communications station, as well as a maintenance operator affiliated with the Northern Regional Armaments Unit responsible for the maintenance of armored vehicles.
The attack comes in the wake of a Zionist raid on the northeastern city of Baalbek whose casualties remain unknown and is an act of retaliation against the occupation expanding the circle of fire to include an area this far into the Lebanese border.
Era of West’s Maritime Hegemony is Over, Ansarallah Proclaims
The Yemeni Defense Minister in Sanaa declared on Sunday that the era of Western “hegemonic influence” over international waters is over, reaffirming that the armed forces’ operations will continue until the war on Gaza comes to an end.
“The US, London, and ‘Israel’ have to realize that control over geography and claiming guardianship over the seas has become a rejected and unwelcome approach,” Major General Mohammed al-Atifi said at a graduation ceremony of Yemeni cadets in Hodeidah.
The General praised the army’s operations and stressed that maritime security in the Red and Arabian Seas has been properly redefined now that Zionist destabilization in them has been put to an end.
On Western allegations that Yemen is posing a risk to international maritime trade, he reiterated that attacks are exclusive to Zionist ships and ships intended for its ports.
“We reaffirm that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not target any ships that are neither affiliated with the Zionist enemy nor serving its interests. Marine navigation for vessels through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea is safe,” the Defense Minister said.
“Sanaa is committed to all international treaties and conventions that do not infringe upon Yemeni dignity and sovereignty or subject it to hegemony and foreign mandates,” he continued.
The top military official vowed that “as long as the Zionists’ atrocities continue in Gaza, we will continue our operations against the usurping entity. Washington has aided and abetted the Zionist entity to forge ahead with its genocidal war on our Palestinian brothers and sisters.”
“The US, London, and ‘Israel’ have to realize that control over geography and claiming guardianship over the seas has become a rejected and unwelcome approach.”
