Since the arrest of Daniela Klette, the Federal Republic of Germany has been in RAF hunting mode, one could think that we had traveled back in time. SEK cops storm one apartment after another in Berlin, hoping to get hold of the other wanted militants. We wish Burkhard and Volker the best of luck on the run!
They are far from the only militants who have successfully gone into hiding despite an open arrest warrant and high search pressure. The accused anti-fascists in the Budapest trial are also being prosecuted in a high-profile manner. The authoritarian spectacle is meant to frighten us all. Those who do not allow themselves to be intimidated and remain militantly active must expect to end up in prison or have to go into hiding.
Here in Bremen, too, the public prosecutor’s office and the cops repeatedly carry out house searches against left-wing radicals. They come into our homes, threaten our retreats and steal our stuff. Let’s not leave these attacks unanswered!
In autonomous solidarity with the persecuted, we visited the police station in the Neustadt last night. We damaged the safety glass windows with stones and provided a breath of fresh air in the cop toilet.
