On Friday an historic meeting took place between the Palestinian Resistance factions, Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and the Yemeni Ansarallah movement, which aimed at coordination for the upcoming stage.
During the meeting, Ansar Allah underlined that it would continue carrying out Resistance operations in support of Gaza in the Red Sea and that the US-British airstrikes on Yemen would make no difference when it comes to their stance.
That said, the Movement stressed it was prepared to coordinate on all levels with the Palestinian Resistance factions.
On the other hand, the Palestinian Resistance expressed its appreciation and gratitude for the pivotal role played by Ansarallah, underlining the depth of Yemeni-Palestinian relations.
The current leader of the Yemeni Ansarallah movement, Sayyed Abul-Malik al-Houthi, stressed during the meeting the pivotal role of the struggle of the Palestinian people, underlining the commitment of the Yemeni people and Ansarallah to the Palestinian cause. The leading figures of all three Palestinian organizations participated. The PFLP’s participation underlines the significance of the revolutionary left’s growing role in the regional resistance efforts against colonialism.
‘Bolstering role of Resistance factions’
The meeting discussed bolstering the collective roles of the Resistance factions and their preparedness for a possible escalation during the holy month of Ramadan, and the Resistance expressed its readiness for dialogue and a ceasefire while reflecting on the developments of the talks.
During the meeting, the Resistance stressed that they were prepared to reach an agreement that would put an end to the aggression and that meets the expectations of the Palestinian people.
According to sources, the Resistance factions also reiterated their commitment to the main issue of the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza, stressing the importance of the return of the displaced Palestinians to their homes, especially the people of northern Gaza and the importance of reaching an honorable prisoner-captive swap deal.
Khan Younis battle persists
During the ongoing confrontations with the occupation forces as part of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood events, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, confirmed that its fighters targeted a troop carrier using a Shawaz armor-piercing explosive device, and its vicinity with a TBG shell, in Hamad Town, located north of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the same area, the al-Qassam Brigades’ resistance fighters also targeted a troop carrier and a Merkava tank, using an Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank missile and Tandem shells.
In turn, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, launched missile salvos targeting the “Sderot” settlement and other settlements in the Gaza envelope area at nine o’clock. Zionist media confirmed that sirens were activated in the envelope area at that time.
Additionally, the al-Quds Brigades confirmed that their fighters targeted several military vehicles north of al-Zahraa city in the central region using anti-tank missiles. The strikes caused casualties among occupation forces, with members killed and wounded during confrontations with the resistance fighters.
The National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, targeted a gathering of occupation army vehicles northeast of Juhor al-Dik with short-range missiles.
Earlier this week, Palestinian forces on March 10 reported targeting multiple military positions stationed throughout the Gaza Strip, resulting in direct fatalities and material losses inflicted on occupation troops.
Footage of a drone operation targeting a military outpost in the east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza was released earlier in the day by the Qassam Brigades. These operations demonstrated that Zionist claims of complete control or withdrawal from certain areas in the North are either inaccurate or incomplete, Resistance sources said.
The Resistance further announced that its fighters successfully eliminated a soldier using sniper fire south of the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City. Meanwhile, in Jabalia camp, the Mujahideen Brigades confirmed targeting a gathering of Israeli troops using short-range missiles.
Ansarallah extends operations successfully into the Indian Ocean
“The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out an operation against the Zionist ship Pacific 01 in the Red Sea with a number of suitable naval missiles,” the spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces Yahya Saree announced in a Friday military press brief in which he revealed a number of operations.
Alongside the ship targeted, Saree announced that “The drone unit carried out an operation against an American destroyer in the Red Sea using a number of drones” and confirmed that a direct hit was achieved.
As for the newly announced directives by Yemeni Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, Saree announced that “the Yemeni Armed Forces began to expand the scope of their operations against Zionist ships, those linked to the entity, or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine, to include the Indian Ocean and the Cape of Good Hope.”
In that regard, the Yemeni Armed Forces warned, once again, that any Zionist ship or any ship heading to or coming from ports in occupied Palestine will be considered a “legitimate target”.
Furthermore, Saree announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully “carried out three operations against three Zionist and American ships in the Indian Ocean, using a number of suitable naval missiles and drones.”
It is important to keep in mind that the Yemeni operations aim to “triumph for the oppressed Palestinian people and retaliate against American-British aggression against our country.”
Al-Houthi: Our ops. hit Indian Ocean, to be expanded to Cape Route
The Yemeni Armed Forces are heading toward expanding the scope of their operations conducted against the occupation forces’ war on the Gaza Strip, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul al-Malik al-Houthi, declared on Thursday.
Sayyed al-Houthi’s announcement will reverberate across global politics, as he underlined that the YAF is heading toward launching attacks on vessels in the Indian Ocean that have been redirected toward the Cape of Good Hope Route, following attacks on merchant and military vessels affiliated with the tripartite Alliance of Evil of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the occupation entity.
Avoiding missile and drone attacks from the Yemeni Navy in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, ships heading toward occupied ports have opted for the longer route of circling the African continent, paralyzing the occupied port in Um al-Rashrash or “Eilat”.
“Our Yemeni Armed Forces will carry on the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza,” the leader of the Ansar Allah emphasized on Thursday.
“Operations targeting Zionist-affiliated vessels and ships affiliated with the American and British sides are ongoing with high effectiveness,” he revealed.
Resistance in Lebanon continues daily operations
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out several operations on Friday against occupation bases and soldiers along the Palestinian-Lebanese border, Hezbollah revealed in separate statements.
The group reiterated that these operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance.
The operations are as follows:
- At 1:15 pm, Hezbollah fighters attacked the al-Marj military site with artillery weapons and achieved direct hits.
- At 2:05 pm, Hezbollah launched a rocket attack on the al-Malkiya base and confirmed the target was directly impacted.
- At 2:50 pm, the Lebanese Resistance fighters engaged a gathering of occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the al-Raheb site with artillery shells, causing casualties among them.
- At 4:00 pm, the group targeted an infantry unit near the Birket Risha base with a Burkan heavy rocket, achieving a precise hit.
- At 4:20 pm, the Resistance fighters attacked using rockets at the al-Radar site located in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, confirming a direct impact.
- At 4:42 pm, the Ruweisat al-Alam military base, also located in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, was targeted and hit with rockets launched by Hezbollah.
- At 05:45 pm, the Lebanese Resistance fighters targeted using “appropriate” weapons a force while it was entering the Zariit Barracks, causing casualties among it.
- At 06:35 pm, Hezbollah opened rocket fire toward a force stationed at the Hadab Yarin base, confirming a direct hit to the unit.
‘intolerable situation’
Hezbollah has been conducting daily strikes against the entity since last October, with the total number of operations surpassing 1,100 as the war on Gaza nears its 6-month mark.
On Wednesday, Zionist media expressed frustration at the lack of a solution in sight regarding the mass evacuation of settlers from northern occupied Palestine due to Hezbollah’s ongoing operations.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal in late December 2023, the Resistance operations from Lebanon, which started last October, have led to the fleeing of nearly a quarter-million occupiers from the north.
The Zionist Channel 12 criticized the current situation and how it reflects on the image and state of the occupation entity in front of its settlers.
“How is it conceivable that a sovereign state evacuates its citizens for over 5 months without a solution in sight? This is simply an intolerable situation,” the outlet reported.
