On the 163rd day of the war, the Palestinian Resistance continues engaging in fierce confrontations with Zionist occupation forces at several points in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, after limited incursions.
Palestinian media reported Sunday evening ongoing intense battles between the Resistance fighters and occupation forces inside the western camp in Khan Younis.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, delivered an illustrated video message to “Israel” concerning captives held in Gaza, titled “The ‘Israeli’ Nazi entity tastes its captive soldiers taste from the same cup it tastes to our people.”
The illustration depicts the tragic situation endured by the Palestinian people in besieged Gaza from killing, destruction, and starvation due to ongoing Zionist aggression, which is simultaneously affecting captives held by the Palestinian Resistance in the Strip.
Meanwhile, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced that its fighters attacked an occupation soldiers’ position east of the central governorate with a barrage of mortar shells.
The Brigades also confirmed that its Resistance fighters shot down a Sky Lark reconnaissance drone while on a spying operation east of Gaza City.
On its part, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, in a brief statement, affirmed that its fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with raiding occupation soldiers in the advancement axis in Khan Younis city.
The statement mentioned that the Resistance fighters attacked an occupation soldiers’ position in the eastern axis of the central governorate with heavy caliber mortar shells.
Joint Operations
As part of the joint operations between different Resistance factions, martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades attacked with short-range missiles Zionist occupation forces’ gatherings in the south of Gaza City.
Abu Khaled, the spokesperson for martyr Omar al-Qassam Forces, confirmed that the Resistance fighters engaged occupation forces on the advancement axes in Hamad City northwest of Khan Younis, with machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.
He also confirmed that the Forces engaged a military vehicle with a B7 shell, achieving a direct hit and inflicting casualties among its crew.
The spokesperson announced that, in cooperation with al-Mujahideen Brigades, al-Quds Brigades, and al-Hussaini groups, martyr Omar al-Qassam Forces attacked positions of the occupation forces south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with barrages of B107 rockets, achieving direct hits and causing confirmed casualties among the occupation soldiers.
Abu Khaled mentioned that the artillery unit in Martyr Omar al-Qassam Forces attacked occupation soldiers’ positions northeast of Juhr al-Dik with short-range rockets, achieving direct hits and inflicting significant damage on the raiding forces.
Moreover, martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades published scenes showing its artillery unit attacking the Zionist “Nahal Oz” site east of the Gaza Strip with 60-caliber mortar shells.
As the Palestinian Resistance factions continue to repel the raiding occupation forces’ incursions into the Strip, the occupation military confirmed that the number of its troops killed since the start of the war now stands at 592, including 249 during the ground invasion of Gaza.
It is worth mentioning that earlier on Sunday, the occupation military also confirmed the killing of a platoon commander in the 7th Armored Brigade’s 77th Battalion, pointing out that he was killed during battles with the Palestinian Resistance on October 7 and his body was allegedly taken to the Gaza Strip.
Iraqi Resistance
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced early Monday that its fighters targeted a Zionist unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) airbase in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights using drones.
In a statement, the Iraqi Resistance affirmed the continuation and intensification of its operations during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in striking enemy strongholds, in completion of the second phase of operations to confront the occupation and support the people in Gaza, and in response to the occupation massacres against innocent Palestinian civilians.
The second phase of the Resistance’s operations includes the enforcement of a blockade on Zionist maritime navigation in the Mediterranean and putting occupation ports out of service.
The Resistance targeted on Thursday the ‘Palmachim’ Airbase deep within the Israeli occupation entity using UAVs.
On Tuesday, the Resistance announced targeting Ben Gurion Airport deep within the occupation entity using UAVs.
On February 25, Akram al-Kaabi, the Secretary-General of the al-Nujaba Movement, a faction that operates under the umbrella of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, affirmed that the Resistance will maintain its operations to kick US forces out of the country and will not stop attacking Zionist targets in occupied Palestine.
“We will not abandon” the goal of “liberating Iraq” from US presence and supporting Palestine by striking the occupation, al-Kaabi further underlined.
