Masai Ehehosi, Former BLA Political Prisoner, Passes Away

Former Black Liberation Army Member and political prisoner Masai Ehehosi passed away on April 1st.

He took part in the underground struggle, but like a lot of comrades from that time his struggle and life was extremely reserved and clandestine. As a soldier in the BLA he eventually spent 15 years in prison and was a codefendant with renowned revolutionary Safiya Bukhari — BLA political prisoner and co-founder of the Jericho Movement.

Masia was a co-founder of abolitionist organization Critical Resistance and a devout citizen of the Republic of New Afrika

BLA revolutionary Dhoruba bin-Wahad described Masia as “a consistent stalwart in the struggle against white supremacy,” further noting that “he didn’t fight for notoriety or glory. He remained humble till the day he passed.”
