The Children of Fire Initiative reported that they carried out fire attacks in many cities against the attacks on the Kurdish people.
According to the statement, on April 3, a scrap dealers’ site in the scrap dealers’ industrial zone in Ankara Yenimahalle and a paint and paint thinner factory in the organized industrial zone in Mersin Akdeniz were set on fire.
The initiative also stated that they set fire to a recycling factory in Bursa on April 1 and a vehicle in Mersin Akdeniz on March 17.
The full statement reads as follows;
“During the last election process, it was once again clearly seen that Kurdistan is occupied by the army. They wanted to prevent the Kurds from holding an election with their own will by moving soldiers and police from all over Turkey to Kurdistan. The fascist Turks wanted to usurp the will of the people of Wan by resorting to the appointment of trustees again in the places where the will of the Kurds was defeated despite all their oppression, fraud and theft. The honorable and decent Kurds showed their reaction by not remaining silent to this occupation anywhere.
As the Children of Fire Initiative, we emphasize that we will not remain silent in the face of these attacks and that we will assign our fire as a trustee to all Turkish cities. We salute those who took the initiative to set fire to a Turkish paint and thinner factory in Mersin’s Akdeniz district, and to those who took the initiative to set fire to the Ankara scrap dealers’ site, turning the skies of the enemy’s capital into black smoke, and to those who burned a recycling plant in Bursa to ashes. As long as there are honorable Kurds who take the initiative and take revenge, the Turks will never find peace and our fire will continue to ignite them.
