Gaza Resistance Rockets Still Reaching Zionist Settlements

On the 181st day of the war, the Palestinian Resistance continues to engage in fierce confrontations against occupation forces in various combat zones in the Gaza Strip.

Reports state that intense confrontations occured between the Palestinian Resistance fighters and occupation forces east of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, and in the towns of Aabasan al-Kabira and Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip.

In this context, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, confirmed that its fighters targeted the settlements of “Ashkelon”, “Sderot”, and “Nir Am”, as well as other Gaza Envelope settlements with rocket barrages.

Al-Quds Brigades said its Resistance fighters engaged a special occupation force entrenched in a building in Khan Younis with an armor-piercing shell and hit a tank with a Barq-type explosive device at the same location.

The Brigades’ fighters also downed a reconnaissance drone and captured it.

In addition, al-Quds Brigades’ Resistance fighters attacked military gatherings with a barrage of 60mm mortar shells in the vicinity of the al-Amal Hospital and the al-Arayshiya area on the western outskirts of Khan Younis.

Using mortar shells, al-Quds Brigades also targeted the “Kfar Aza” settlement, in the Gaza Envelope, and the “Netivot” settlement and its surroundings in the western al-Naqab.

On its part, al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its fighters engaged a Merkava 4 tank with an al-Yassin 105 shell east of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

Occupation media outlets confirmed that sirens sounded in the “Kfar Aza” and “Netivot” settlements in the Gaza Envelope, as well as in the “Ashkelon” settlement.

Zionist authorities in “Sderot” confirmed that one of the rockets fired from Gaza landed in a neighborhood and hit a house.

Also today, the military spokesperson of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Abu Hamza, stated that occupied al-Quds unified the battlefields this year, warning that any act against al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque would ignite the region ablaze.

In a statement commemorating World Quds Day, Abu Hamza said that the events on the battlefield prove that the Resistance is committed to Operation Al Aqsa Flood and remains determined militarily, and in the popular and security areas.

“What is happening in the Gaza Strip requires responsibility to offer our blood in the fight against the Zionist-American arsenal,” adding that “the Resistance continues confronting the aggression in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, and its field presence proves that it rejects the occupation and will continue combating it under the principle of the unity of the battlefields.”

Abu Hamza also stated, “With the backing of support fronts, we continue confronting the occupation on all combat axes, in response to the Israeli aggression targeting Palestinian civilians.”

Abu Hamza commended Hezbollah, in Lebanon and the Resistance operations in Iraq, Yemen, and Syria. He also saluted the masses who came out in Jordan in solidarity with Gaza, stressing that their voices echoed in Gaza.

He pointed out that “the pure blood in Palestine has begun to blossom from Jordan to Tunisia, Bahrain, and others,” vowing “We promise you victory and that the resilience of the Palestinian people will be a model for all the peoples of the world.”
