Operation Al-Aqsa Flood Resistance Activities Persist

For almost 200 days now and as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Palestinian Resistance continues to confront occupation forces in Gaza.

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its fighters were able to snipe a soldier in Beit Hanoun, north of Gaza.

In the same area, they also targeted a D9 military bulldozer using an al-Yassin 105 shell and a gathering of Zionist troops using mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also bombed groupings of occupation forces and military vehicles using mortar shells, east of Beit Hanoun.

They also bombarded concentrations of occupation vehicles using mortar shells east of Bureij camp, in the center of the Gaza strip.

Non-stop resistance

The Palestinian Resistance, represented by its diverse military factions, continues to engage in confrontations with occupation forces within the Gaza Strip, while also targeting settlements in the surrounding areas with retaliatory strikes responding to Zionist massacres.

Palestinian media reported on April 20 ongoing confrontations between the Resistance and the occupation forces in al-Mughraqa and al-Zahraa, north of the Central Governorate in the Gaza Strip.

Sirens sounded in the “Kissufim” settlement bloc in the Gaza envelope, according to what Zionist media reported.

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, declared responsibility for launching a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells at a gathering of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the “Netzarim” axis, situated south of Gaza City.

The military media of the al-Quds Brigades released footage showcasing the preparation and launch of a missile salvo aimed at Zionist settlements and military gatherings, highlighting their actions against the Israeli occupation.

In turn, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades targeted gatherings of occupation soldiers and their military vehicles with mortar shells, striking southeast of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, in the southeastern part of Gaza City.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also bombed the “Sderot” settlement, north of the Gaza Strip, with a missile barrage, in response to the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the military media of the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, released footage documenting their targeting of a D9 military bulldozer with an al-Yassin 105 shell. The operation occurred east of Deir al-Balah, in the central part of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Resistance fighters also confronted occupation forces that raided the city of Tubas in the occupied West Bank early on Monday morning.

Confrontations were ongoing in other towns and refugee camps, as the occupation’s military carries on its vicious war on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

To the southeast of Nablus, in the Balata refugee camp, occupation forces admitted that a soldier was wounded during confrontations with Resistance fighters, earlier on Monday dawn. The occupation’s military had launched an incursion into Balata in the early hours of Monday.

A large Zionist force, composed of several armored convoys and military-grade bulldozers, invaded the camp. The force was confronted by Resistance fighters, armed with assault rifles and improvised explosive devices.

Further to the south of the occupied territory, occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, located in the northern al-Khalil governorate. According to local sources, confrontations broke out in several of the town’s neighborhoods, as the occupation’s military raided several homes and commercial stores.

Due to the brutality employed by occupation forces during the raids, a group of local youths confronted the occupation forces who fired live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters at Palestinians. The incident led to several injuries, which were limited to cases of suffocation.

In detail, local sources said that occupation forces raided the home of Khaled Abu Maria and physically assaulted him and members of his family. The occupation forces also vandalized the Abu Maria family’s home and destroyed their personal belongings.

The city of al-Khalil, the capital of the governorate, was also raided by occupation forces, in which multiple Palestinian citizens were detained. The list of detainees included Abdul Karim al-Aajlouni and Ihab Burqan.

Zionist soldiers, settlers intensify their assault on Palestinians

Earlier on Sunday, settlers, backed by occupation forces, attacked the village of Burqa to the east of Ramallah and set fire to a livestock shed. Increased attacks by fanatic settlers have also been paired with continuous and intensifying military raids on Palestinian towns.

Citing the head of the town’s council, Sayel Kanaan, the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) said that settlers attacked the village from the northern and western sides, setting a shed used for raising sheep ablaze.

Illegal settlements and colonial outposts surround the small Palestinian town, whose residents and properties have been subject to attacks from both military forces and fanatic extremist settlers. According to WAFA, settlers also attempted to break into a Palestinian home located in the town’s northside and other buildings to the west.

The colonialists also tried to break into a house on the northern side, in addition to other houses on the western side of the village.

In Beit Lahm, occupation forces were deployed to a local mosque in the town of Harmala, where they prevented worshippers and locals from entering or leaving its premises. This led to confrontations with locals and the firing of tear gas canisters and live bullets.

To the east of Tulkarm, in the towns of Anabta and Kfar al-Labad, occupation forces stormed the towns’ streets, raiding several areas as they attempted to establish inspection points, however, they were confronted by locals. As a result, no detainments were reported in the area.

The Zionist police confirmed on Monday that three settlers were injured in a ramming operation in occupied al-Quds, indicating that both Palestinians who allegedly carried out the attack fled the scene on foot.

The occupation police claimed that a Carlo submachine gun was found along the escape route of the Palestinians, adding that a large number of officers were dispatched to track the two.

Hezbollah continues with qualitative operations

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced on Sunday evening that it had successfully downed a Zionist drone over al-Aishiya area in southern Lebanon at 10:50 pm.

It also targeted two buildings utilized by occupation soldiers in the settlement of “Metulla,” achieving a direct hit with suitable weaponry, in retaliation to the recent Zionist attacks on southern villages and civilians, notably the town of Kfar Kila.

The Resistance confirmed that these two operations came in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their Resistance.

Later, a spokesperson for the occupation army admitted that a drone was downed over Lebanon after it was hit by a surface-to-air missile.

The Zionist newspaper Maariv reported that a surface-to-air missile was fired at an unmanned Zionist Air Force aircraft that was flying in Lebanon’s airspace, confirming a direct hit.

The newspaper revealed that an investigation into the incident is underway, noting that this Zionist drone that Hezbollah shot down tonight marks the fifth to be downed since the beginning of the war.

In parallel, occupation  attacks on southern Lebanese villages continued, as hostile artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of the town of al-Khiam.

Hezbollah operations on the northern front

Earlier today, the Resistance group conducted its first operation at 7:30 am, targeting a building used by soldiers in the “Shomera” settlement (the occupied Lebanese town of Tarbikha) with appropriate weapons.

Surveillance equipment at the al-Malkiya base was targeted and directly hit at 5:15 pm, Hezbollah stated, noting that the operation was carried out using appropriate weapons.

Revealing the last operation of the day, Hezbollah said in a statement, “In response to the Zionist attacks on southern [Lebanese] villages and civilians, including the most recent targeting the town of Kfar Kila, fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted at 11:05 pm two buildings used by enemy soldiers in the “Metulla” settlement with appropriate weapons, hitting them directly.”

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced today that it engaged the headquarters of the Third Infantry Brigade situated at the Israeli Ein Zeitim base, in the occupied Safad area, using dozens of Grad rockets.

In its statement, it confirmed that this operation is in response to the occupation attacks on villages and civilian homes in South Lebanon with the most recent ones in Srifa, al-Odeisseh, and Rab Thalathine.

Hezbollah also engaged occupation forces grouping behind the al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills using artillery shells.

Its freedom fighters also targeted py equipment facing the Lebanese town of al-Wazzani using appropriate weapons and causing direct hits.

The Resistance confirmed that these operations came in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their Resistance.

The spokesperson of the occupation forces confirmed that around 35 projectiles from Lebanon had been detected in the direction of Ein Zeitim near Safad in northern occupied Palestine.

Zionist media confirmed that there was a direct hit in the area emphasizing that siren sounds were triggered in Rosh Hanikra, Liman, Shlomi, Eilon, Hanita, Admit, Gorn, and Arab al-Aramsha.

Reports also state that the occupation forces attacked the outskirts of the towns of Yaroun and Deir Mimas in South Lebanon using artillery shells.

Zionist warplanes also bombed the village of Rab Thalathine and the area between the towns of Srifa and Arzoun in South Lebanon, our correspondent added.

Iraqi Resistance strikes back

At least five rockets were launched from Iraq toward Syria on Sunday, two Iraqi sources told Reuters.

Reportedly, the rockets were launched from Zummar, Iraq, toward a US occupation base in northeastern Syria.

This attack is highly significant as it is the first in two months after the Iraqi Resistance stopped launching attacks against the US occupation forces in Syria in February after they had started in October in light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

A Pentagon report in mid-January revealed that the US occupation forces in Syria and the US forces stationed in Iraq came under attack 140 times since October 17 as part of the ongoing regional Resistance efforts to build pressure against the US and the entity for accepting a ceasefire in Gaza.

Pentagon deputy spokesperson Sabrina Singh underlined that the attacks had been “persistent and alarming.”

“To date, there have been approximately 140 attacks on US troops in Iraq and Syria: 57 attacks in Iraq and 83 attacks in Syria,” she stated.

The Pentagon has reported a significant toll on its personnel, with nearly 70 military members wounded and one non-combatant contractor losing their life as a result of these attacks. The intensifying Resistance operations in Syria and Iraq have raised concerns about the security of US forces deployed in the region.

Unwelcome US forces

The attacks stopped in light of talks regarding the future of the unwelcome US forces in Iraq.

Sources familiar with the matter indicate that the United States and Iraq are on the verge of engaging in discussions regarding the future of the US forces in Iraq.

The talks, facilitated by a higher military commission (HMC) formed last summer, will center on the next phase of the US-led international coalition, a US official told CNN.

The Iraqi Resistance’s operations against the US forces have proven to be potent, with CNN reporting that the recent airstrikes launched by the US against local Resistance groups made the discussions more important.

An agreement reportedly came to fruition on Tuesday, and after a meeting at the White House, US President Joe Biden and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani revealed that they would work together to ensure the withdrawal of a US-led coalition in the country.

A joint statement by Biden and al-Sudani declared that they discussed the “natural evolution” of the coalition “in light of the significant progress that has been made in ten years” and that they would continue to look into issues like ISIS (Daesh), support for the Iraqi government, and boost Iraqi security forces.

“The two leaders affirmed they would review these factors to determine when and how the mission of the Global Coalition in Iraq would end,” the statement noted.
