Palestinian Resistance in Tact, Working on Rafah Ambush; Regional Actions Persist

Zionist media outlets reported on Saturday that the situation in the Gaza envelope “has returned to pre-October 7,” affirming that occupation officials’ promises to “eliminate” the Resistance and achieve imminent victory are “completely detached from reality.”

Occupation Channel 13 stated that officials “pledged to eliminate Hamas and assured the residents of the envelope that they could return to their homes, as it was safe, but last week proved that reality is far from the promises,” referring to Resistance rocket launches from northern Gaza toward nearby settlements.

“Rockets were launched [targeting] the envelope area throughout last week, where sirens sounded in Nir Am, Ashkelon, Sderot, Kfar Silver, Zikim, and Mefalsim,” journalist Almog Boker said. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Security Minister Yoav Gallant have pledged to “continue the war until Hamas and all its elements are eliminated,” he continued.

The rockets were launched from the northern Gaza Strip, “an area where Gazans are not supposed to be,” Boker added, despite the fact that top officials “sold the public the idea that it [north Gaza] is under army control.”

“This indicates another fact worth mentioning,” which is that Palestinians in Gaza have returned to the North and that fighters from Hamas and the Islamic Jihad still maintain a presence in the area.

Occupying army ‘responding inadequately’

Resistance fighters are not only launching rockets, but also targeting occupation forces on the ground,” the journalist warned, noting that “a Hamas fighter opened fire yesterday at an army patrol, killing a reserve officer.”

Boker believed that this is because “the fighters there understand well that the area has returned to the days before October 7 .. while the army is responding inadequately.”

Newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported last week that, nearly 7 months after launching the war on the Strip, the entity has yet to bring back its captives, defeat the Resistance, reduce its influence, or effectively harm its capabilities, let alone “eliminate it”, as top officials declared the elimination as one of the war’s goals.

The outlet said that it is evident today that a handful of officials are claiming that war objectives in Gaza are being achieved, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu standing out as the main proponent of the “overwhelming decisive victory” slogan.

Resistance geared for potential Rafah invasion

Palestinian Resistance factions affirmed in a joint statement on April 25 that the Resistance is all geared up for any possible scenario in the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, including a ground invasion of Rafah, the southernmost city in the besieged territory.

In its statement, the factions emphasized that they “will not sit idly by,” as “all options [for escalation] are on the table,” warning against the catastrophic and humanitarian consequences of any ground aggression on Rafah, which hosts more than 1.4 million displaced Palestinians.

The Palestinian factions held US President Joe Biden’s administration and Western governments fully responsible for any invasion of Rafah, as Western backing to the entity is ongoing despite the occupation’s violation of multiple international conventions and laws.

In the same context, the factions called on the Palestinian masses in the cities of the West Bank to “rise vehemently” in protest against threats of invading Rafah.

“We call on our people to turn the West Bank into a fireball in the face of settlers and soldiers,” the statement urged.

Furthermore, the Palestinian factions affirmed that the genocidal war would not restore the defeated military of the occupation.

US responsible for its actions

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Sanaa, Hussein El-Ezzi, affirmed that Yemen is fully aware of the United States’ possible hostile plots against the country, holding it fully accountable for the ramifications of its “foolishness”.

In a post on X, El-Ezzi threatened Washington that it would be left unable to “find one secure path in the region” in case it commits any aggressive action, noting that “its interests would be legitimate targets for all free people.”

El-Ezzi subsequently called on Washington to cease its aggressive stance against Yemen, before its “defeated ideas lead it to long-lasting hell.”

This comes amid the US’ continuous mobilization of internal agents to shake Yemeni stability after it failed to deter its forces in the Red Sea.

Earlier today, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Yahya Saree, announced that the YAF’s naval forces targeted a British oil vessel in the Red Sea. He confirmed that the targeting was carried out with several suitable naval missiles, achieving a direct hit.

The Yemeni armed forces also successfully shot down an American MQ9 drone above Saada Governorate using an appropriate missile, as it engaged in hostile missions against Yemen.

Earlier today, the British Maritime Trading Organization reported that missiles struck a vessel off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea.

UMKTO underlined that two attacks took place. “The first attack, the vessel experienced an explosion in close proximity to the vessel, which was felt by the crew on board,” the organization reported.

“Subsequently, the second attack on the vessel consisted of what is believed to be two missiles, which resulted in damage to the vessel,” it added.

YAF’s ongoing operations in solidarity with Palestine

About two weeks ago, Saree announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces executed four operations in the Gulf of Aden as a response to ongoing aggression against the Yemeni people and in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Yemeni armed forces on the first day of Eid al-Fitr targeted several vessels, including ones belonging to the occupation and the United States.

The naval forces “successfully, with the help of God Almighty, executed the operations, aiming at disrupting maritime activities in the region and sending a clear message to the aggressors.”

Two vessels, identified as the MSC DARWIN and the MSC GINA, bore the brunt of the Yemeni strikes, indicating a deliberate targeting of vessels linked to Israeli interests. Additionally, the American ship MAERSK YORKTOWN found itself under fire in the Gulf of Aden after clear warnings against such vessels crossing through the body of water.

Further intensifying their actions, Yemeni forces engaged a US warship in the Gulf of Aden deploying several drones in the operation. The Yemeni Armed Forces disclosed that the vessels were targeted utilizing a combination of naval missiles and drones.

Hezbollah

The Resistance in Lebanon announced that it targeted the “Meron” settlement and the surrounding settlements with dozens of Katyusha rockets.

The resistance statement stated that this targeting came in response to the occupation’s attacks on southern villages and civilian homes, in particular, the towns of al-Quzah, Markaba, and Sarbin.

For its part, Zionistmedia reported that one of the central radars at a military base had been damaged. This was preceded by the announcement of the launch of  a heavy salvo of missiles, which were launched towards the settlements of Mount Meron, including Safsofa, Hagnoz, Kfar Hosh, and Bar Yoha

Earlier on Saturday, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that Hezbollah’s support for the Gaza Strip has hindered the occupation’s war plans in Palestine and Lebanon in the present and the future.

“Those who fail to see the future, who are ignorant of this enemy, will not be able to understand the facts that indicate that this support will have benefits beyond supporting Gaza and beyond protecting Lebanon; it extends to forming a real deterrent force that confronts ‘Israel’ and teaches it that it cannot cross the line,” Sheikh Qassem underlined.

He said that the initiatives being proposed for Lebanon and southern Lebanon are not viable unless they are based on a ceasefire, for that is the only means of addressing the core issue.

“Whoever comes up with an initiative that entails a ceasefire in the south to relieve the entity so that it can bolster its positions in Gaza is calling on us to participate in supporting the Israeli enemy,” he underlined.

Iraqi Resistance strikes Haifa

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted on Friday a vital target in Haifa, inside occupied Palestine.

In its statement, the resistance asserted that the targeting was carried out using drones, emphasizing their commitment to continuing the destruction of enemy strongholds as part of the second phase of operations to resist the occupation, emphasizing their solidarity with the people in Gaza and their determination to retaliate against the Zionist massacres inflicted upon defenseless Palestinian civilians.

On Wednesday, the resistance published an image revealing several of its drones heading towards the “Eilat” settlement in southern occupied Palestine.

The resistance’s military media accompanied this photo with the phrase, “The horror is not over yet, and there is more,” signaling that the resistance is determined to continue its operations against occupation targets to bolster Gaza and its resistance, amidst ongoing aggression.

This comes after the Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched a drone attack on April 20 against a strategic Israeli target in the ’48 occupied territories in response to the Israeli attack against a military base where a Popular  Mobilization Forces (PMF) group was deployed.

In a statement on its Telegram channel, the Iraqi Resistance adopted the operation against the Eilat port on Saturday morning, noting that it was in response to the violation of Iraqi sovereignty, the aggression against the PMF, and in support of Gaza against the Israeli massacres and genocide against Palestinians in the Strip.
