Gaza Resistance Bombard Occupation’s Command and Control Centers; Yemen Launches Deep Sea Attack

The Palestinian Resistance attacked assemblies of military vehicles and troops in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza, on the 207th day of the war, simultaneously with ongoing fierce battles in the Netzarim axis, which separates the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, published footage of its Resistance fighters targeting a D9 bulldozer with an al-Yassin 105 shell in Beit Hanoun.

In a new message to the families of the Zionist captives held by the Resistance in Gaza, al-Qassam posted a picture showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and reading: “Due to Netanyahu’s political interests, your sons are still in captivity.”

Meanwhile, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, confirmed that its fighters bombarded the entities military’s command and control centers along the supply route for the Netzarim axis with mortar shells, confirming direct hits.

The Brigades published footage showing the attack on soldiers and their fortifications in the Netzarim axis.

Resistance has enough resources to manage the battle

In a related context, Hani al-Dali, an expert in Palestinian Resistance affairs, stated that the Resistance’s operations against military bases and troops in all axes of Netzarim indicate a clear imbalance in favor of the Resistance.

Al-Dali confirmed that the Resistance has the firepower capability to target military sites and possesses rockets that can reach beyond the occupied city of Asdod, revealing that the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza has a huge number of rockets in its arsenal, as well as tunnels to manage the ongoing battle.

He also pointed out that al-Qassam Brigades in particular is refraining from intensively using medium and long-range rockets against the occupation at this time, and is instead waiting for the appropriate time to do so.

Al-Quds stabbing operation ‘pivotal point’

Touching on the stabbing operation carried out by a Turkish tourist in occupied al-Quds on Tuesday, al-Dali deemed the act as a “top-tier operation” considering its proximity to the al-Aqsa Mosque, which is a compass to the free people of the Arab and Islamic nations.

He added that the Turkish nationality of the person who carried out the operation confirms the Arab and Islamic support that the Palestinian people enjoy and proves the success of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in reinforcing solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

The expert emphasized that the operation was a “pivotal point” in the confrontation with the occupation and proved the entities failure in isolating the Arab and Islamic nations from al-Quds.

Zionist media reported that an occupation soldier was injured as a result of the stabbing operation.

Netanyahu’s aspirations would not be achieved

Regarding negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza, al-Dali said that Netanyahu is aiming to see a rejection from the Palestinian Resistance in the negotiations, but stressed that the premier’s aspirations would not be achieved.

But a well-informed Palestinian source told stated that the document presented to the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas over a new ceasefire proposal in Gaza included positive points and a retreat in the Zionist position.

The source said that Hamas still needs to verify key issues, especially regarding the ceasefire and the withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip.

In addition, the are still contentious points concerning the prisoners’ file, which requires more time to reach an agreement, particularly regarding their numbers and categories.

According to the source, Hamas’ adherence to its previous demands forced the occupation to draw back on matters concerning the ceasefire, the withdrawal from Gaza, and the return of forcibly displaced people to their homes.

The source stated that the movement is still studying the new proposal after the return of its delegation from the Egyptian capital Cairo and is engaged in intense consultations, adding that Hamas is maintaining constant communication with the Egyptian and Qatari mediators.

It can be said that the negotiations’ atmosphere is better than before, and there is a retreat in the Zionist stance regarding the withdrawal from Gaza and the return of displaced Palestinians, the source concluded.

Earlier on Tuesday, PIJ spokesperson Musab al-Breim told Al Mayadeen that “the war will not end except with the cessation of aggression and the withdrawal of the enemy,” emphasizing that “these principles are non-negotiable.”

Al-Breim further stated that “the Resistance is awaiting the retreat of the enemy, which has proven its failure on the field,” reaffirming that there is coherence across the region’s Axis of Resistance.

The spokesperson further stressed that “the Resistance remains strong and active across the battlefield, and the political track must match the heroism of the battlefield.”

Yemen launches significant attack

Authorities reported on Tuesday that a container ship flying the Portuguese flag was targeted by a drone attack in the remote areas of the Arabian Sea, aligning with assertions made by the Yemeni Armed Forces who claimed responsibility for the attack on the vessel.

The attack on the MSC Orion, situated approximately 600 kilometers (375 miles) off the Yemeni coast, marks the first acknowledged deep-sea attack claimed by the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) since they began their operations back in November in support of the Palestinians amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza. This indicates the potential capability of the YAF to carry out strikes across the expanses of the Indian Ocean, as they previously warned, as per a report released by AP.

According to the Joint Maritime Information Center, which operates under the US-led Combined Maritime Forces in the Middle East, the attack occurred last Friday. Following the attack, the crew found debris believed to be from a drone on board, as reported by the center.

The center claimed that the ship “sustained only minor damage and all crew on board are safe.”

In further detail, ship-tracking satellite data examined by AP indicated that the container ship, en route to Salalah, Oman, was in the vicinity of the attack on Saturday.

It is worth noting that the MSC Orion is linked to London-based Zodiac Maritime, a subsidiary of the Zodiac Group owned by Zionist billionaire Eyal Ofer.

The Joint Maritime Information Center indicated in a report that the targeting of the MSC Orion was likely due to its perceived Zionist affiliation, as stated by the center.

The spokesperson for the Yemeni military Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated on Tuesday that the Zionist-affiliated MSC ORION container ship was targeted by the YAF’s Unmanned Air Force in the Indian Ocean.

The big picture

The attack prompted inquiries into how the YAF could execute an assault hundreds of kilometers away from the Yemeni coast on a mobile target. Their previous areas of attack primarily encompassed the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the narrow Bab al-Mandab Strait, which are close to Yemen’s shoreline — unlike the location of the MSC Orion attack, as per the report.

The YAF affirm that their attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden come as a response to ongoing aggression against the Yemeni people and in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza amid the brutal aggression that killed more than 34,000 Palestinians.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly affirmed the safe navigation of ships of all countries through the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, except for Zionist and entity-bound ships, as well as American and British ships following the two countries’ aggression on Yemen.

They also reaffirmed Yemen’s consistent stance regarding the security and stability of the region, affirming that all measures carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces do not contradict international humanitarian law.

Since November, the YAF carried out over 50 attacks on ships, capturing one vessel and sinking another, as reported by the US Maritime Administration.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi revealed that as of April 25, the YAF targeted 102 vessels of different origins and types. On average, this means that the YAF has targeted nearly 1 ship every 2 days.

On Tuesday, the YAF released video footage of a drone attack on the Cyclades. The footage displayed a Samad bomb-equipped drone participating in the attack.

Additionally, the YAF asserted on Saturday that they downed another MQ-9 Reaper drone belonging to the US military, showcasing footage of wreckage corresponding to identifiable components of the unmanned aircraft. While the US military confirmed the drone’s crash, it stated that an investigation into the incident was still underway.
