The Transitional Presidential Council in Haiti Calls for Kenyan Occupation

The 9 members of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT), the new traitors to the Nation, are already at work. Working under the dictates of the US colonial administration, they have just committed another act of infraction against the country by writing to Kenyan President William Ruto on Monday, May 6 to demand the deployment of foreign forces that the Western powers in agreement with the UN Security Council have named to better sell their project: Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti.

However, preparations to dirty and defile the Haitian territory for the umpteenth time by Westerners are well underway. They have already enlisted a number of countries at their service, such as the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Benin, Chad, Jamaica and Kenya, to help them with their forfeiture.

It is a project of shame well oiled with hypocrisy and lies by the Biden administration that continues the predatory objective of the former slave powers to punish Haiti for its historical dynamism and its contribution to humanity.

The occupying forces are already on their way, according to the US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of International Affairs for Drug Enforcement and Law Enforcement, Todd D. Robinson, an initial deployment of Kenyan police officers is being planned to travel to Haiti. All this will undoubtedly begin with the state visit of President William Ruto and his wife Racheo to Washington on May 23 to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon is charged, in conquered countries, with the construction of a military base not too far from the international airport in Port-au-Prince that could receive and house the occupying forces.

The United Nations has indicated that a trust fund of $18 million is available for the occupying mission. What is the contrast between the zeal displayed with pomp by the Westerners, particularly the United States, France and Canada, to help this project of military intervention in Haiti while closing their eyes to the dire economic situation of the country and of the vast majority of the Haitian population living in abject poverty?

It should be pointed out that this announced occupation is planned from scratch on the symbolism of security, of dismantling the gangs, which is only a big lie, a bluff to soften the naive and hide the real problems of the country.

They have used the gang issue to conceal the true source of the country’s misfortune and also to disorientate the solution to the problem that they themselves introduced. It was the United States of America, through its destructive policy of the country at the economic, social and political level, through the many orchestrated coups d’état and military invasions and then its support for the corrupt government, that plundered the country’s devastated economy and reduced the population to precariousness.

The most overwhelming cynicism, Washington has never had the courage to tell the truth about Haiti, which it describes as the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. So with a bit of honesty, he should rather say: the most impoverished country, victim of more than a century of crimes, robberies and looting committed by American imperialism.

All our industries have been dismantled, so that we do not produce anything and become merely a consumer country. Our agricultural production boycotted. An intolerable level of unemployment, a miserable salary for the police, what else could we expect?

The gangs are the product of the level of poverty marked by IMF austerity measures, unemployment, endemic corruption, permanent political instability and deep socio-economic crisis inherited from decades of imperialist oppression.

Instead of helping Haiti emerge from its economic slump and overcome chronic underdevelopment, the United States now prefers to spend $60 million on arms, ammunition, for military equipment in order to strengthen the Kenya-led Multinational Security Support Mission to push it further into nothingness. What would be the concrete result of this military show and media hype about gangs without saying anything about the destitute, the homeless? Nothing will be different from the 13 years of the Minustah. Everything will result in a zero or near zero result!

With the only difference the 9 members of the Transitional Presidential Council, these Conzés will have time to amass a fortune, to get rich on the back of the people. And a few years later, everything will start again with the same slogans.
