The Palestinian Resistance continues its operations on various fronts on the 238th day of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, responding to the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
This coincides with the occupation forces withdrawing from Jabalia in the northern part of the Strip, following targeted attacks by the Resistance.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters have sniped at two soldiers near Sheikh Zayed Square in the northern part of the Strip.
The Brigades’ Military Media released footage documenting Resistance fighters targeting soldiers and military vehicles, shelling their positions with mortar bombs on the frontlines in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, confirmed that its fighters have killed and injured members of a Zionist special force near the Imam Ali Mosque on the al-Ajarmah Street in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza.
Al-Quds Brigades also announced that its Resistance fighters have engaged soldiers and vehicles with a barrage of heavy mortar shells in the western part of Rafah, where they had also shelled a gathering of soldiers and military vehicles near the Salah al-Din Gate in the southern part of the city.
Similarly, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for targeting a gathering of soldiers and vehicles with mortar shells in the same area.
The Brigades also announced that its fighters have shelled Zionist forces positioned in Jabalia camp with mortar bombs. It displayed footage documenting its shelling of occupation forces stationed at the Nitzarim axis in southern Gaza with short-range rockets and mortar shells.
On its part, the al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the al-Mujahideen Movement, announced that its fighters shelled Zionist military vehicles in the al-Abed Jabr area, west of the Salah al-Din Gate in Rafah, with mortar bombs.
In addition, the National Resistance Brigades – Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), confirmed that its Resistance fighters engaged occupation forces in the western part of the Zor’ob roundabout in Rafah with mortar bombs.
Zionist plan that failed in Jabalia will not succeed in Rafah
As the Palestinian Resistance continues its operations, inflicting losses on the occupation forces, which admitted to 3,657 injuries since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, former Justice Minister Haim Ramon criticized the War Cabinet and the army’s general staff for their “total failure to achieve the war’s objectives over the past eight months.”
Ramon acknowledged in an article in the Zionist newspaper Maariv that “Hamas remains standing in every area of the Gaza Strip that the ‘Israeli’ army has withdrawn from.”
He cited Jabalia as evidence of this, explaining that while the occupation army had announced dismantling Hamas’ military capabilities in its first attack on the northern part of the Strip, it was surprised by the number of Hamas fighters and the amount of fire they managed to unleash in the second attack.
The former minister criticized the regimes continued use of the same strategy in Rafah that it implemented in the northern areas of Gaza, which involves withdrawing forces after claiming “control”. He questioned whether this strategy, which had failed to achieve the war’s objectives in Gaza City and Khan Younis, would “suddenly succeed” in Rafah.
Highlighting the War Cabinet and the general staff’s failures, Ramon warned that the regime is on the verge of a strategic defeat, suggesting that the occupation entity officially declare the war’s end, “on the condition that all captives are retrieved.”
Hezbollah escalates attacks
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced Friday a new series of operations carried out by its fighters against military sites and troops.
Hezbollah reiterated that its operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to attacks on southern Lebanese towns and villages.
The group stated that its Resistance fighters struck the Biranit barracks (Headquarters of Division 91) with heavy Burkan rockets and achieved accurate hits, setting it ablaze and partially destroying it. Hezbollah said the operation was in response to the assault on the southern Lebanese town of Maroun al-Ras.
Hezbollah fighters also targeted the al-Baghdadi site with heavy Burkan rockets and achieved a direct hit, in response to the Israeli aggression on the town of Aitaroun.
The Resistance also said its fighters shelled the Ramot Naftali settlement with a rocket barrage.
It later confirmed that its fighters launched an aerial assault using drone strikes targeting Iron Dome launchers in the al-Zaoura base, hitting their installations and positions accurately and resulting in damage and fires. Hezbollah said the attack was in response to the aggression on the Houla square.
The Islamic Resistance also said it engaged a building used by Zionist troops in the Shomera settlement (occupied Lebanese village of Tarbikha) with the right weapons, achieving a direct hit. It said the strike was in response to the aggression on Maroun al-Ras.
Hezbollah mentioned that its fighters engaged the Ma’ayan Baruch site with rockets and artillery shells, hitting it directly. Later, it said its Resistance fighters targeted the al-Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Chouba Hills with rockets, achieving accurate hits.
In addition, the Resistance confirmed that its fighters targeted the settlements of Ga’ton, Ain Yaaqoub, and Yehiam with dozens of Katyusha rockets. Zionist media pointed out that new settlements have joined the warning zone in the north, where sirens can be heard for the first time since October 7. Hezbollah confirmed that the operation was in response to the attack on the civil defense in al-Naqoura, which resulted in the martyrdom of one crew member and the injury of others.
