Regional Resistance Fronts Persist With Significant Strikes Against Zionist and US Forces

In support of the Palestinian people and the resistance in Gaza, and in light of the occupations aggression against various southern Lebanese towns, Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance continued to strike Zionist occupation sites near the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine on Saturday, June 1, 2024,  inflicting massive losses.

Today’s operations demonstrated the group’s relentless efforts to exhaust the occupation forces on multiple fronts with exceptional precision. The group successfully launched several explosive-laden UAVs, struck `Kiryat Shmona` settlement with Burkan heavy missiles, and most significantly downed a Hermes 900 drone. Notably, Hezbollah had previously downed a drone of the same type on April 6, 2024.

Hezbollah military media released a series of statements outlining the conducted attacks and their outcomes:

In retaliation for Israeli assaults on southern villages, particularly in Ain Qana, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the headquarters of the 769th Brigade at the Kiryat Shmona barracks with heavy “Burkan” missiles. The missiles directly hit the headquarters directly, causing a fire to break out and destroying a part of it.

As a retaliatory measure against enemy attacks on the towns of Adloun and Seddiqine, resulting in the tragic martyrdom of a civilian woman and injuries to others, the Islamic Resistance’s fighters launched a missile strike on the Hanita settlement.

More Operations

Later on Saturday, Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance revealed that it had targeted the new headquarters of the 411th Artillery Battalion in Ga’aton with missile weapons.

The military media of the Lebanese resistance, Hezbollah, published footage of Operation No. 2000, among the total of its operations carried out against various targets belonging to the occupation in northern occupied Palestine, within the framework of supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and supporting their resistance, as well as in response to the attacks on Lebanon.

The video footage uses a thermal camera to show the moment the resistance began monitoring the Hermes 900 drone and the exact moment a missile targeted the drone before it burned and crashed in Lebanese territory.

The military media video included scenes captured by the cameras of Lebanese citizens in the southern regions, where the drone appeared clearly in the air as it was hit before it fell.

The scenes also showed the wreckage of the drone after it was seized.

Yemen launches six attacks

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that their missile force, drone force, and naval forces have carried out six military operations.

The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, stated that the first operation targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower in the northern Red Sea using several missiles and drones.

He mentioned that this was the second attack against the carrier within 24 hours.

Saree further confirmed that a second operation also targeted another US destroyer positioned in the Red Sea and achieved direct hits.

Additionally, the Brigadier General confirmed that the other four operations targeted ships belonging to companies that violated the siege against Zionist ports in occupied Palestine.

Among these was the ship MAINA, which was targeted in two operations: one in the Red Sea and the other in the Arabian Sea.

Saree added that the third operation targeted the ALORAIQ ship in the Indian Ocean, while the fourth operation targeted the ABLIANI ship in the Red Sea.

He emphasized that the operations “achieved their goals successfully, with accurate and direct hits,” stressing that the Yemeni Armed Forces “will continue to carry out their military operations in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the American and British aggression on our country.”
