Resistance Intesifies Rafah Operations; Abu Hamza Releases New Statement

For the 239th day of the genocide in Gaza, the Palestinian Resistance continues confronting occupation forces across all axes, inflicting more losses in their ranks.

Confrontations between the Resistance and the occupation were concentrated in the Brazil neighborhood and the Zoroub Roundabout in westernmost Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

In this context, it is worth noting that the al-Quds Brigades attacked a  military vehicle with a high explosive improvised device in the vicinity of the Umm Raed area, in eastern Rafah.

The Brigades also engaged occupation soldiers and vehicles with 60mm mortar shells in the southern area of the Yabna camp in Rafah, near the Palestinian-Egyptian border.

Footage was published of the al-Quds Brigades targeting occupation soldiers with mortar shells on the advancement axis in south Rafah.

Meanwhile, the al-Qassam Brigades published footage of its fighters sniping occupation soldiers in the Jabalia refugee camp, as well as the targeting of a special Zionist force using a TBG charge.

On its part, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades targeted the occupation forces in the Zoroub Roundabout with a salvo of mortar shells. Elsewhere in western Rafah, al-Aqsa fighters targeted soldiers with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Moreover, the Brigades reported that its fighters sniped an occupation soldier, confirming a direct hit, in the vicinity of the Nassar Roundabout in northern Gaza.

The al-Mujahideen Brigades pounded occupation forces stationed on the Netzarim axis in southern Gaza, with a rocket salvo.

Hamas publishes video addressing captive familes

The Military Media of the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published a recorded video addressing the families of Zionist captives and the dead, detailing the operation carried out in Jabalia and saying “Do not believe your government or your army”.

The Brigades started the video with a recorded message from a previous statement made by spokesperson Abu Obeida, telling the Zionist audience that the occupation forces have been scouring the piles of rubble in search of the remains of the hostages they deliberately bombed while throwing thousands of soldiers in Gazan alleys, sacrificing them for Benjamin Netanyahu’s personal gains and his extremist government’s interests.

In its address, al-Qassam announced that its fighters were able to lure occupation soldiers into a tunnel, noting that the occupation failed to intercept the Resistance fighters despite entering a drone beforehand to check out the tunnel. As soon as the drone was out, the Resistance fighters advanced to the location of the ambush as per a previously agreed upon plan.

Upon the arrival of the soldiers to the ambush inside the tunnel, they were confronted by Resistance fighters at point zero. Two soldiers were killed when Resistance fighters blew up the eye of the tunnel before occupation soldiers dug up the surrounding area. As they continued their path, thinking the Resistance fighters had evacuated the tunnel, the occupation soldiers sent in more soldiers.

Contrary to their expectations, the occupation soldiers were caught in another ambush inside the tunnel, where Resistance fighters had planted hidden bombs. When the occupation sent in reinforcement, Resistance fighters clashed with them, detonating a bomb against them, before bombing the tunnel itself and leaving.

The al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that the operation resulted in killed and injured occupation soldiers, as well as new captives. The Resistance also took the soldiers’ gear.

Al-Qassam also released the identity and photo of one of the killed soldiers, saying it was holding his body captive. Speaking to the occupation leadership, al-Qassam said, “You know him very well, why are you lying to your audience? Is he one of the mercenaries you have not announced since October 7? Or is your racism manifested even when differentiating between your dead?”

Abu Hamza releases address

The spokesperson of the al-Quds Brigades, Abu Hamza, confirmed that the military wing of the Resistance movement continues to confront occupation forces, stressing that the Resistance remains “in great shape,” and vowing that “the horror of attrition will drive the occupation outside of Gaza.”

In a recorded statement released by al-Quds Brigades on the 239th day of the aggression on Gaza, Abu Hamza emphasized that the Palestinian Resistance is engaged in an existential battle in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, asserting that victory for the Resistance is inevitable.

Concerning the captives held by the Resistance in the Gaza Strip, Abu Hamza stressed that the al-Quds Brigades are “fighting a complex security battle to preserve them,” addressing the occupation settlers by saying, “The only way to return the captives is to withdraw from Gaza, conduct an exchange deal, and end the aggression.”

He added that as the occupation persists in its genocidal campaign against Gaza, the return of settlers to the settlements “will not happen until the war on Gaza ends.”

Al-Quds Brigades’ achievements during the past weeks

In his address, the spokesperson for the al-Quds Brigades outlined the accomplishments attained by the brigades in their confrontations against the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip. He announced the execution of numerous sniper operations directed at the occupation soldiers and snipers across all incursion zones, notably in Jabalia, over the past weeks.
