On May 23, at around 08:30 in the morning, the warehouse section of a factory producing textile materials in İSTEKS Textile Industry Section, located in Istanbul/Başakşehir İkitelli OSB, was set on fire. In the act of sabotage, the warehouse was completely destroyed and the factory suffered millions of pounds of damage.
Today, while the guerrilla‘s war with the occupying army continues with all its intensity, our militias continue to target the enemy and its economic resources in the cities.
As the June 1st, Breakthrough enters its 20th year, the captivity of Kurdish People‘s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in its 25th year with deepened systematic isolation. The freedom guerrilla, which took action on the basis of legitimate defense against the all-out attacks that started in terms of the desire to liquidate the Kurdish Freedom Movement and pave the way for interventions to be made in the Middle East, and against the captivity of the Kurdish People‘s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, responded with the June 1st Breakthrough, and the Revolutionary People‘s War process started with the participation of the people and is in the line of heroism today.
Just as the peoples of Turkey and Kurdistan fought against the fascist-reactionary enemy forces and protected their gains in the Gezi Resistance and then the Rojava Revolution, in the new period, they should unite around the guerrilla fighting for the democratic common life hopes of the peoples from Dersim to Izmir, from Amanos to Zap, protect the honor of the revolutionary prisoners who resisted under torture and isolation conditions in prisons, and rise up in the cities with the spirit of Wan resistance against the fascist-murderous AKP-MHP regime.
