In a written statement, MAK (Milîsên Azadiya Kurdistan — Kurdish Freedom Militia) announced that while they were clashing with the occupying Turkish forces in Gever, they carried out a protest with improvised explosive devices and Molotov cocktails at the pro-government BİM market in Nisebin.
The statement reads as follows:
“While the MAK Militia clashed with the occupying Turkish forces in Gever, they carried out an attack with improvised explosive devices and Molotov cocktails at the pro-government BİM market in Nisebin.
With these actions we have carried out as the MAK Militia, we will not remain silent against the trustee and gang state in Kurdistan. We will resist fascism and occupation with all our organized power and protect the will of our people for freedom. The Turkish society and state should know that this reign you have established through the usurpation and genocide of the people of Kurdistan will be the end of you. Our people, who resist for freedom, will win, and the AKP-MHP and its trustee mentality will lose.
Long live our people‘s struggle for freedom and democracy.
Down with the occupying and genocidal Turkish state. “
