In an interview with Radio Comunitaria FM Pocahullo, the lawyer Eduardo Soares explains the current situation of Facundo Jones Huala, Mapuche political prisoner detained in prison in southern Chile. Huala is currently in critical condition due to a dry hunger strike he has carried out for more than eight days.
The unjust legal situation imposed by the states of Chile and Argentina has caused the Mapuche authority to take extreme action putting his life at risk.
A call out is being made to the entire Mapuche nation to be attentive to this situation. To denounce by all means the genocide that is being committed continually against our people.
