Resistance Confronts Occupation in Khan Younis, Attacks Commence on American Forces in West Asia

The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza continues to fend off Zionist ccupation forces for the 294h consecutive day, inflicting heavy losses on the invaders across combat zones.

Reports state that the eastern part of Khan Younis was witnessing intense confrontations between Resistance fighters and occupation forces besieging dozens of families in the Bani Suhaila area. The Resistance was attempting to break the Zionist battle lines and provide safe passage for the families to escape the military siege.

As part of the efforts, the Resistance successfully targeted several Zionist tanks and a D9 armored bulldozer.

In the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City, al-Qassam Brigades announced destroying two Merkava 4 tanks using Shawaz heavy explosives. The group said the tanks were surrounded by Zionist soldiers at the time of the detonation.

In the same area, the al-Qassam Brigades also targeted another Merkava tank with an al-Yassin 105 shell, sniped a Zionist soldier, and detonated an anti-personnel locally produced explosion against a infantry force, resulting in casualties among the soldiers.

Similarly, the al-Quds Brigades announced destroying a military vehicle using the Thaqib heavy explosive in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood.

In Eastern Khan Younis, the group in a statement that their fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with occupation soldiers throughout Thursday night, revealing that their fighters targeted occupation forces and their military hardware and vehicles with anti-tank rockets and heavy machine gun fire.

The al-Quds Brigades also targeted Zionist orces and their equipment stationed around the Rafah crossing gate with mortar shells. Additionally, along the supply line in the Netzarim axis, the brigades launched mortar attacks on gatherings of occupation soldiers, inflicting significant damage.

For their part, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said they targeted a tank with an RPG shell in eastern Rafah. In Netzarim, they targeted an occupation force position with three 80mm mortar shells.

The Omar al-Qasim Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, also targeted occupation soldiers and their equipment in southern al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younis, with mortar shells.

The occupation forces admitted on Friday that a soldier was killed after he was targeted with an anti-tank rocket while operating a D9 bulldozer in southern Gaza.

Under “cleared for publication”, the occupation stated that the soldier was Moti Raveh, a sergeant in the reserves, who worked as an operator of heavy engineering machinery within the Givati Brigade.

With this, the number of casualties in the occupation forces has risen to 688 soldiers and officers since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, among whom 328 were killed since the start of the ground aggression against the Gaza Strip.

In other news, the US base in the Conoco gas field in the province of Deir Ezzur in eastern Syria has been hit by five missiles, a Syrian military source said on Saturday.

“Three missiles landed in the territory of the base at Conoco, the other two in the vicinity of the base. US helicopters took to the air after the shelling,” the source said.

US and coalition forces in Iraq and Syria have been targeted with multiple attacks since October 2023, following the aggression on Gaza.

In a similar context, earlier this week, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on July 24 that it had launched a drone strike against a “vital target for the occupation” north of the occupied Palestinian city of Umm al-Rashrash [Eilat].

In a statement, the Resistance confirmed that this operation comes in support of the Gaza Strip and in response to the ongoing massacres committed by the occupation against Palestinians, including children, women, and the elderly.

It is noteworthy that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq continues to conduct operations against the Zionist occupation, striking targets within the occupied Palestinian territories. In the second phase, their focus shifted to targeting the occupation’s ports.

More than a million people demonstrated in Yemen on Friday in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and in condemnation of the continued genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip.

Under the slogan “Victory for Gaza… We are proceeding with the fifth phase of escalation”, million-man marches took place this afternoon in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa and more than 200 central and sub-squares in the governorates of Al-Hodeidah, Taiz, Ibb, Amran, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Al-Jawf, Dhamar, Al-Dhale’e and Lahj for the 40th Friday in solidarity with Gaza and in support of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) and their operations.

The morning demonstrations included the governorates of Saada, Raymah, and Marib, and a number of directorates in the governorates of Taiz, Amran, Ibb, Hajjah, and Al-Mahwit.

Demonstrators reiterated their supportive stance towards Gaza and continued commitment to do so, saluting Palestinians and their steadfastness in the face of the Zionist aggression praising their united efforts.

The Yemeni people also supported the operations of the YAF against the occupying regime, calling for even more operations in the fifth phase of the escalation.

In response to the Zionist aggression on Hodeidah, they denounced the US reception of Benjamin Netanyahu, askingĀ  “Why do not the Arab and Muslim countries receive the leaders of the resistance as Washington receives the war criminal Netanyahu?”

Between occasional standing ovations and routine applauses, US Congress gave Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an excessively warm welcome that was reiterated almost 40 times in less than an hour.

In a related context, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Mr. Abdul Malik al-Houthi, announced that the Yemeni support front has launched the fifth phase of escalation through the “Yafa to Occupied Yafa” operation, in which the Yemeni armed forces targeted Tel Aviv with a Yafa drone last week.

In a speech delivered on Thursday, Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed that the occupation “was astonished by the operation and shocked due to the importance of the target that was hit and the long distance the Yemeni-made drone traveled.”

He stated that the distance crossed by Yafa exceeded 2,200 km and that it managed to “penetrate all the barriers and defense that the occupation relies on, provided by” countries protecting it.

The Ansar Allah chief emphasized that targeting Tel Aviv, which includes the occupation’s most vital facilities, represents “a critical point” that pains the occupation and strikes its “arrogance, and presumption,” asserting that hitting it means “there is no safe place left for Zionists in occupied Palestine.”

The drone operation “terrified the occupiers” residing in the area of the strike, Sayyed al-Houthi said.
