The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) announced the death of two fighters. According to the information published by the HRE, Dilsoz Reco was killed on Monday in a battle against Turkish mercenaries in the Afrin region, while Çekdar Kobanê died of illness on the same day.
In an obituary, the HRE paid tribute to the two Kurds from Afrin as brave freedom fighters for their people and declared that their fight continues.
Dilsoz Reco’s real name was Mihemed Şêx Dada, and he had fought on the front lines since the beginning of the revolution in Rojava, according to the HRE. He took part in the defense of Aleppo, the liberation of Shehba and the resistance against the Turkish invasion of Afrin. Since the occupation of his homeland and the expulsion of the population in 2018, he has lived to seek revenge and liberate Afrin.
Çekdar Kobanê (Xebat Îbrahîm) grew up in a family close to the Kurdish freedom movement and also took part in the resistance against the invasion of Afrin. After the occupation by Turkey, he joined the HRE and fought for the liberation of his homeland.
