The Palestinian Resistance continues to target Zionist occupation forces in the Gaza Strip and engage in battles on all combat fronts in response to the aggression on the Strip, particularly in Rafah, Khan Younis, and the Netzarim Axis.
The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, reported fierce confrontations since dawn, from point-blank, against Zionist occupation forces trying to advance in the town of Zalata in easternmost Rafah.
Its fighters also targeted two Zionist Armored Personnel Carriers (APC), two D9 bulldozers, and a Merkava tank in the Zalata area, using Yasin-105 charges.
They noted that a helicopter landed at the site of the operation to evacuate the casualties.
The al-Qassam fighters also sniped an occupation soldier with the Ghoul sniper rifle, near the eastern cemetery, in Rafah.
The al-Qassam Brigades published footage of the operation against the Soufa military site, east of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip. Its military media said that the site was targeted with two 114 mm Rajum rockets.
In the video, the resistance fighters dedicated the rocket salvo to Hamas’ martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Netzarim Axis under heavy attack
In turn, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, engaged a soldier gathering along supply lines on the Netzarim Axis using mortar shells.
The Brigades military media released footage of its fighters destroying a military vehicle after detonating a Thaqeb grenade in Khan Younis.
For its part, the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades showed footage of mortar shells being fired towards a Zionist command and control site in the Netzarim Axis, north of the central governorate.
The Mujahideen Brigades also announced targeting the Netzarim Axis with a Haseb missile, while the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades published footage of its fighters targeting the headquarters and positioning of occupation leadership in the Netzarim Axis, as part of an artillery and missile fortification operation.
They also released footage of the bombing of the Zionist forces’ command and control center at the Nahal Oz military site, in cooperation with the al-Ansar Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Freedom Movement.
In a joint operation, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the al-Ansar Brigade targeted the command and control center of the Zionist forces at the occupation’s Fajjah military site, with a concentrated barrage of rockets.
Hezbollah launches new attacks
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced early Sunday including a new settlement in northern occupied Palestine to its target bank in response to the Zionist attacks on civilians in Lebanon on Saturday.
In a statement, Hezbollah said that “in response to the enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and the safe homes, particularly the attacks on the villages of Kafr Kila and Deir Siryan that resulted in civilian injuries,” it added the settlement of Beit Hillel to its list of targets for the first time, targeting it with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
All recent operations by Hezbollah only involved targeted strikes against military bases and positions in the Beit Hillel settlement.
The leader of Hezbollah Sayyed Nasrallah had vowed last month that Zionist strikes on civilians in Lebanon would be met with retaliatory attacks from the Resistance, targeting settlements that had remained untouched since the confrontation began on October 8, 2023.
Since then, with the entity’s systemic targeting and killing of civilians, Hezbollah has introduced several new settlements to its target bank, forcing many settlers who have not yet evacuated to flee.
Ansar Allah continues naval blockade
The British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Saturday evening that a ship was hit by a missile 125 NM east of Aden, southern Yemen.
UKMTO’s statement added that the strike did not result in fires, water ingress, or oil leakage.
The alert came shortly after the UKMTO said it had received a report of a “small explosion” near a ship about 170 NM southwest of Aden.
Last month, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) carried out three operations targeting American and Zionist-affiliated and bound ships in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
The spokesperson for the YAF, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed then that the American vessel, Maersk Sentosa, was targeted and hit in the Arabian Sea, while the Zionist MSC Patnaree ship sailing in the Gulf of Aden was directly hit by several drones.
Earlier, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, confirmed that the Americans acknowledged that Yemen has kept their entire navy away from the Red Sea, and they are aware of the strength of our strikes.
Preparing for a military response
This comes as the Zionist regime and the United States are on high alert in anticipation of the Iranian and Resistance Axis response to the recent Zionist assassinations and aggressions.
In the past two weeks, the occupying regime has assassinated two high-ranking Resistance leaders and carried out an air aggression on Yemen.
Hamas’ Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran on Wednesday while on an official visit. Less than 12 hours later, the regime assassinated a Hezbollah top military leader, Sayyed Mohsen Shokor, in an airstrike on Beirut, which also resulted in the martyrdom of Iranian military advisor Milad Bidi and five civilians – three women and two children. The regime also conducted an airstrike on Yemen’s Ras Kathib power station located in the Hodeidah port, leading to the martyrdom of six civil servants.
In light of preparations to protect the occupation, US War Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered on Saturday the deployment of additional naval warships, fighter jets, and anti-ballistic missile defense systems in the Middle East.
“These posture adjustments add to the broad range of capabilities the U.S. military maintains in the region, including the USS WASP Amphibious Ready Group / Marine Expeditionary Unit (ARG/MEU) operating in the Eastern Mediterranean,” with over 4,500 Sailors and Marines onboard across the force, Pentagon said in a statement.
