Solidarity action succeeded in freeing José Díaz from the clutches of the oppressive system.
It is with great happiness that we report the freedom of our compañero José Díaz Gómez, Support Base of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (BAEZLN). This freedom is thanks to the determined and common action of the peoples, communities, collectives, organizations, and individuals; the continuous sum was to manifest the injustice, to expose the corrupt system, in which the Zapatista comrade was subjected to Arbitrary Deprivation of Liberty (PAL) that led to putting his life at risk.
The violations of human rights are many, but the wave of solidarity is much greater, as it brings down the walls of any system. The word spoken with dignity, the persistent struggle, the image that shakes the heart, all actions break the schemes of a government deaf to the people.
We thank all the people who, with their diverse forms of manifestation and expression, are the collective thought and the essence that other worlds are possible and necessary. Thank you for the wave of solidarity with which we managed to crack the system.
