As the Palestinian Resistance continues confronting the Zionist occupation forces in the Gaza Strip for the 335th day of the genocide, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced the targeting of a Merkava tank with a Shawaz explosive device in southernmost Street 8 in the al-Zaytun neighborhood in Gaza City, northern Gaza.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, in turn, targeted Zionist supply lines along the Netzarim Axis in the northeastern central district with a salvo of K132 shells using the Nasr System.
The Brigades also engaged occupation soldier gatherings in the eastern area of the central district with a barrage of Asef 122-caliber missiles, also using the Nasr System, achieving direct hits.
Meanwhile, the al-Ansar Brigades, the military wing of the Freedom movement, published footage of the targeting of settlements in the Gaza envelope.
A few days ago, Zionist media cited a security source confirming that “Hamas has successfully restored its capabilities in the northern Gaza Strip.”
Reports indicate that an estimated 3,000 Hamas fighters “have resumed operations in the northern Gaza Strip and are actively working to enhance the organization’s operational capabilities.”
These estimates suggest that the issue involves Hamas recruiting new members in recent months, rather than transferring fighters from the southern to the northern part of the Gaza Strip. That said, senior officials in the security and military establishment have stated that a large-scale incursion into the northern Gaza Strip is becoming inevitable.
Occupation forces have continued their storming of villages, cities, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank, met with resistance from Palestinian youth and fighters defending their communities.
Meanwhile, the invasion of Jenin and Tulkarm has entered its eighth consecutive day, resulting in widespread devastation to civilian infrastructure and Palestinian private property, including homes and vehicles. Additionally, the ongoing blockade on the cities and their refugee camps continues to cut off access to essential supplies such as food, water, and medicine.
The Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, announced the detonating of an IED in an bulldozer on Abu al-Asal Street in the Jenin refugee camp, confirming that a direct hit was achieved.
For their part, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – Jenin confirmed that its resistance fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with occupation forces in the al-Hadaf neighborhood using machine guns and explosive devices.
Earlier today, the al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm said in a statement that it was involved in intense battles with invading Zionist forces on various fronts in the city’s refugee camp, leading to occupation forces deploying reinforcements in the camp.
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas described the ongoing aggression on the occupied West Bank, “particularly in Jenin and Tulkarm,” as part of a “genocidal campaign waged by the extremist Zionist government against our people in Gaza and the West Bank,” which is aimed at displacing Palestinians from their land and eliminating their cause.
The Resistance group also stressed that today’s Zionist attack on the Al-Fara camp south of Tubas, and the martyrdom of six Palestinians due to ongoing airstrikes, are war crimes.”
“These heinous crimes of murder, terror, and destruction of property will not succeed in breaking the will of our people in the occupied West Bank, nor will they deter our steadfast Resistance from fulfilling its role in defending our people and cause.”
The movement also praised “the courageous fighters and rebellious youth who bravely confront the criminal war machine” in the streets of towns, camps, and cities across the West Bank, commending the popular support shown by “our heroic people for the Resistance and its mission.”
Settlers’ attacks continue
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Thursday that Zionist forces surrounded the Al-Ansar Mosque in the Jenin refugee camp with several military vehicles.
Local sources confirmed that the occupation forced families living near the mosque to evacuate their homes, stating their intention to demolish it. The Al-Ansar Mosque was previously bombed by Zionist forces in October 2023.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that one Palestinian was wounded after being shot by occupation forces besieging a home in the village of Kafr Qud, west of Jenin.
settlers have also intensified their attacks on Palestinians and their villages, with several homes attacked on Thursday in the village of Birin, southeast of al-Khalil in southern West Bank.
