The Al-Aqsa Flood battle is quickly turning into a larger regional war due to the aggression and barbarism of US imperialism and its proxy the Zionist occupying regime. After commiting a historic massacre of civilians in Lebanon, the regime launched a mammoth bombing campaign in the south of Lebanon.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah offered his condolences to the families of those martyred or wounded in the deadly attack involving pagers rigged by the occupation. Sayyed Nasrallah referred to the incident as a “major terrorist operation, an act of genocide and massacre,” amounting to a “declaration of war.”
The attack, which involved the detonation of thousands of pagers, was conducted “without regard for any regulations or morals,” according to Sayyed Nasrallah. Over two days, the Zionist enemy sought to kill more than 5,000 people “in two minutes without regard for anything,” he said. He further condemned the indifference shown by the attackers toward the civilian locations where many of the individuals carrying the devices were present.
The Resistance leader stressed that the aggression resulted in “dozens of martyrs, including women and children,” with thousands more wounded. “The real scale of the aggression will show with time,” Sayyed Nasrallah underlined.
In his remarks, the Hezbollah chief highlighted the meticulous planning of the attack, explaining that the enemy had rigged 4,000 pagers with the clear intent of killing 4,000 people in a single minute. Despite the severity of the attack, many injuries were fortunately minor, with a number of pagers out of service or not distributed at all at the time of the explosion, as he revealed.
Sayyed Nasrallah described the assault as a “grand terrorist operation” and addressed the second attack that saw the occupation detonating thousands of handheld radio receivers, or walkie-talkies, labeling it a second attempt by the occupation to kill thousands. He expressed gratitude for the efforts made by the people to mitigate the severity of the injuries.
“We have formed investigative committees and are closely examining all possible scenarios, hypotheses, and possibilities,” Sayyed Nasrallah said. He added that the investigation will scrutinize every aspect of the attack, from the factory where the devices were produced to how they ended up in the hands of the users, with the end goal of reaching a definitive conclusion.
“There is no doubt that we were subjected to a major blow on a security and humanitarian level that is unprecedented in the history of our Resistance,” he said. “We were dealt a major blow, but that is war. We acknowledge that the enemy has technological supremacy, especially as it is backed by the United States and the collective West.”
“We will grow more steadfast and determined to overcome all perils, and it is of great importance that such blows do not undermine our will,” he said. He also praised the effectiveness of the Lebanese front in pressuring the occupation, as evidenced by its recent actions and statements.
Northern front bane of the entity
Sayyed Nasrallah continued by emphasizing the effectiveness of the Northern Front. “The enemy labeling the situation in the north as the first historic defeat for ‘Israel’ is further evidence of our front’s effectiveness,” he declared. Moreover, he noted that the mobilization of occupying forces in the north highlights the “grave threat it faces on this front,” which he described as one of the most important fronts in the ongoing regional war of attrition.
“The enemy has admitted to losing the North, forcing [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and [Security Minister Yoav] Gallant to find a solution to the predicament constituted by the northern front,” Sayyed Nasrallah added, underscoring the front’s role in the ongoing war of attrition. According to the Resistance leader, this front serves as “one of the most important trump cards in the hands of the Palestinian Resistance in the negotiations to halt the aggression on Gaza.”
Nasrallah also revealed that Hezbollah had faced “paramount pressures and numerous threats” aimed at halting operations on the northern front, with the detonation of communication devices over the span of Tuesday and Wednesday being a part of these efforts. “We were informed through numerous official and unofficial channels on Tuesday of the need to stop supporting Gaza and firing into the occupation from the north,” he stated. However, he affirmed Hezbollah’s resolve, saying, “We must not succumb to these threats nor halt our support for Gaza.”
The Hezbollah leader also warned that the occupation’s actions would further exacerbate the displacement of settlers from the north and reduce the possibility of their return. “What you are doing will increase the displacement of your displaced settlers from the north and will bar the opportunity of their return,” he warned. He also reaffirmed Hezbollah’s commitment to supporting Gaza, the West Bank, and the Palestinian people, declaring that the Resistance “will ensure that the enemy fails to achieve its goals.”
Nasrallah praised the high spirits and steadfastness of those wounded in the Tuesday and Wednesday attacks, emphasizing their resolve to return to the battlefield. He also noted that the occupation had aimed to “destroy the Resistance’s infrastructure and affect as many leaders as possible while causing paramount chaos and weakness, which it failed to achieve.”
Zionist leadership leading it to abyss
Addressing the broader strategy of the Zionist leadership, Sayyed Nasrallah questioned Netanyahu’s ability to resolve the displacement crisis in the north, stating, “Can Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu return the settlers to the north? We are taking this on as a challenge knowing full well they can’t, regardless of the course of action they take.”
He pointed out that the only way the enemy could return the displaced settlers would be to halt the aggression on Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Sayyed Nasrallah vowed that the Lebanese front would not cease its operations until the aggression ends, “regardless of the prospective sacrifices and repercussions.”
Sayyed Nasrallah then criticized Zionist military strategy, particularly the suggestion by the northern command to establish a security belt. “The foolish commander of the northern command’s suggestion to establish a security belt is making us hope they do go ahead with it so that their tanks would be easier to hit,” he remarked. He added that Hezbollah was “thoroughly looking for their tanks” and welcomed any such movement, viewing it as a “golden, historical opportunity” to strike.
“If the enemy establishes a security belt, it must understand that it will be ambushed and the zone will turn into a swamp and a quagmire in which it will be mired,” Nasrallah warned. “The retaliation the Zionist will face will remain a well-kept secret within our closed circles, and they will hear nothing of it until the time comes.”
Sayyed Nasrallah criticized the leadership of Netanyahu and Gallant, accusing them of “egoistical, chaotic, and foolish leadership” that would “lead the occupation into the abyss and the collapse of the third tempele”
The Resistance leader pledged that the occupation would face a resounding act of retaliation in both predictable and unforeseeable manners. “The response will be just and perplexing.”
Moments after Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah concluded his speech, Palestinian resistance groups issued statements praising Hezbollah for its steadfast support of the Palestinian cause and its dedication to the Palestinian people.
Hamas Movement
In an official statement, Hamas commended Hezbollah’s commitment to backing the Palestinian struggle for liberation “until the Nazi-like aggression and genocidal war against Gaza come to an end.”
Hamas described the stance of the Lebanese resistance as “a strong blow to Netanyahu and his fascist government, thwarting their attempts to undermine the support for our people and resistance in Gaza.” The statement further condemned recent Zionist attacks on pagers and hand-held radio receivers, calling them “brutal” and “terrorist,” and noting that the strikes targeted the entirety of Lebanese society.
Hamas emphasized that the escalating violence by the regime—including killings, massacres, and acts of genocide against civilians in both Palestine and Lebanon—has “violated all international norms, laws, and principles.” It argued that these actions have turned the regime into a rogue entity, posing a real threat to both regional and global security. Hamas called on the international community to condemn, isolate, and prosecute the leaders of the regime for their crimes.
The statement also reiterated Hamas’ admiration for Hezbollah’s sacrifices and active role in the al-Aqsa Flood operations, emphasizing that “the immense sacrifices and the pure Lebanese blood spilled over the past year intertwine with the struggle and blood of the Palestinian people, as both march together on the path to liberating al-Quds, al-Aqsa, and all of Palestine.”
Palestinian Islamic Jihad
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) expressed deep appreciation for Sayyed Nasrallah’s speech, stating that his stance strikes a blow against attempts to isolate Gaza and weaken the Palestinian resistance. The movement emphasized that Nasrallah’s firm position, following the occupations attacks on Lebanon, underscores the unity and resilience of the resistance across various fronts.
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) echoed these sentiments, commending Nasrallah’s firm message that the Lebanese resistance would persist until the aggression on Gaza ends. The PFLP described Nasrallah’s words as “a pledge of loyalty and determination to support the oppressed Palestinian people and their courageous resistance.”
The PFLP further noted that Nasrallah sent a clear message to the occupation affirming that there will be no peace in the northern occupied territories until the aggression on Gaza ceases. Nasrallah also reassured the public that the structure of the Lebanese resistance was strong and steadfast, and would not be weakened by criminal bombings. The resistance’s ability to confront any escalation or aggression on Lebanon, he said, is only growing stronger.
The PFLP added that Nasrallah’s speech reflects confidence in the resistance’s ability to withstand strikes, continue developing its capabilities, and learn from the regimes treacherous and widespread bombings.
Popular Resistance Committees
The Popular Resistance Committees (al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades) expressed their appreciation for Nasrallah’s reaffirmation of the Arab and Islamic commitment to continue supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance despite the brutal massacre carried out by the occupation against the Lebanese people.
The Committees also agreed with Hezbollah’s understanding that the regime makes no distinction between Lebanese and Palestinians, civilians or resistance fighters, stressing that the only way to confront the occupations barbarism was through continued resistance until the aggression and genocide in Gaza are permanently halted.
The Committees further noted that Nasrallah’s message delivered a firm warning to the occupation and its leadership, making it clear that the various fronts cannot be separated, no matter the scale of the atrocities committed.
In spite of continuous airstrikes on territory in South Lebanon, Hezbollah fighters continue to attack and shell Israeli military sites and positions across the Palestinian-Lebanese border, marking one of the most intense confrontations in recent weeks.
Hezbollah launched 17 operations after attack
In total, Hezbollah Resistance fighters executed 17 operations by Thursday night, two of which resulted in casualties among occupation troops.
These operations come after the regime launched a treacherous terror attack against Lebanon.
The terror attack mainly targeted off-duty Resistance fighters, however, it put others at risk and inflicted damage on countless civilians, marking the viciousness of the expansionist settler-colonial regime.
Just one day after the latest terror attacks, Hezbollah fighters shelled and struck multiple military sites and settlements.
Officer, soldier killed in precise attacks
On Thursday morning, an attack conducted via anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) on the al-Marj military site in the al-Jalil Panhandle, killed a soldier who served under the 1st Infantry Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion and injured another eight other troops, the Zionist military command said.
The second attack, this time launched by Hezbollah’s Unmanned Air Force, saw at least a one-way attack drone strike the positions of occupation forces in Ya’ara. A logistics company commander in the 91st Division’s 300th Regional Brigade’s 299th Battalion was killed in the attack and another soldier was injured in that attack, according to the military command.
Hezbollah said that this attack targeted a newly set up command headquarters for the 300th Regional Brigade, responsible for operations on the western side of the Palestinian-Lebanese border area, in Ya’ara settlement.
The group also said that the attack was launched in response to the aggression on the town of Kfar Kila.
Although the military command reported a total of two deaths and nine injuries, Zionist media outlets reported a larger toll of 2 deaths and 16 injuries on Thursday.
In continued support of Palestine, response to aggression
Adding to eight operations launched between 7:45 am (local time) and 2:40 pm, Hezbollah executed another 10 attacks against Zionist assets. During that time warplanes had launched more than 50 strikes on the country, adding to the complexity of the Resistance’s operations.
- In response to aggression on southern Lebanese towns, the Resistance fired salvos of Grad-type rockets at the Mitat military site.
- Under the same circumstances, the Resistance fired salvos of Grad-type rockets at the Shomera barracks.
- Another salvo of Grad-type rockets were fired at the command headquarters of the 810th Regional Brigade in Ma’ale Golani.
- At 5:35 pm, Hezbollah artillery units shelled the al-Malikiyah military site.
- In yet another response to aggression, Hezbollah fighters attacked buildings appropriated by occupation forces in Metulla.
- At 7:00 pm, Hezbollah fighters attacked the al-Summaqah military site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Chouba Hills.
- The headquarters of the 300th Regional Brigade in Ya’ara came under another attack later on Thursday.
- Moreover, a salvo of Grad-type rockets was fired at the Adamit barracks.
- The Liman barracks also came under a Hezbollah rocket attack on Thursday.
- Hezbollah fighters also launched a salvo of larger Falaq rocket-assisted munitions at the Metulla military site.
Following the last attack, the head of the Zionist Metulla mayoral council, David Azulay, said that the destruction in the settlement was “enormous,” adding that he had not seen such a thing since the start of the war.
The Zionist Ynet news website reported that several power outages were recorded in the settlement where multiple fires were blazing.
