Born in 1945, Mattini became involved in politics from a young age, joining the PRT (Workers Revolutionary Party) in the 1960s.
He quickly became a key figure in the organization, noted for his commitment to the class struggle and his defense of workers’ rights.
During the military dictatorship (1976-1983), Mattini was an active opponent of the regime, participating in the resistance and suffering persecution and exile.
His memory will be remembered and honoured by all those who fight for a more just and equitable world.
