PFLP Mourns its Heroic Leaders: Nidal Abdel Aal, Emad Odeh, Abdel Rahman Abdel Aal – Beacons on the Path to Palestine and Al-Quds.

With deep pride, honor, and revolutionary anger, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, on behalf of its Secretary-General, his deputy, its political bureau, central committee, and all its members and fighters at home and in the diaspora, mourns the martyrdom of three of its leaders, including its political bureau member and head of its security and military wing, Comrade Nidal Abdel Aal, who, with their pure blood, wrote a new epic in confronting the zionist criminal machine. They were targeted at dawn today in Kola, central Beirut, in a cowardly and treacherous assassination.

Martyr Comrade Leader Mohammad Ghazi Abdel Aal “Abu Ghazi” (Nidal)

– Member of the Political Bureau and Head of the Military and Security Wing of the Front.
– Born in 1969, originally from the village of Al-Ghabsiyah in the Akka district of occupied Palestine.
– Married with three children.
– Joined the ranks of the Popular Front at a young age and rose through its political and organizational ranks until being elected to its Political Bureau at its eighth conference and was assigned to lead the military and security wing.
– Completed several military and cultural courses.
– Held numerous organizational and military responsibilities.
– Participated in battles defending the Palestinian presence in Lebanon.
– Known for his intellectual and organizational resilience, he was an example of a brave leader who never hesitated and remained committed to the dream of returning to his original village, Al-Ghabsiyah.
– A writer and thinker, he produced literary and intellectual works on Palestinian resistance, including the novels “Another Narrative” and “The Lost Adim Stele.”
– Believed that Palestinian identity is the cornerstone of resistance and liberation.
– He was a staunch critic of settlement agreements, viewing them as attempts to undermine Palestinian rights.
– Constantly called for enhancing national unity among resistance factions, believing that confronting the occupation requires a unified and revolutionary strategy.
– Until the last moment of his life, he was ablaze with love for Palestine, exemplifying courage and determination.
– Played a key role in planning and being responsible for dozens of Popular Front operations in the occupied West Bank.

Martyr Comrade Leader Emad Odeh “Abu Ziyad”

– Member of the Security and Military Leadership and its leader in Lebanon.
– Born in 1962, a Palestinian refugee originally from the village of Saffuriyya in the Nazareth district of occupied Palestine.
– A field man par excellence, known for his courage and resilience.
– The son of the historic revolutionary fighter, “Abu Emad” Odeh, who carried the banner of national struggle from his youth.
– Emad grew up in the ranks of the Front and the youth movement, leading the way with unwavering enthusiasm.
– Held numerous positions within the Popular Front, including responsibility for the Front in northern Lebanon.
– Elected as a member of the Popular Front’s General Central Committee at the eighth national conference.
Not only a fighter, but a true pillar of Nahr al-Bared Camp, where he bravely handled the file of rebuilding the camp after its destruction and took on the responsibility with steadfastness and dedication.
– He was one of the leaders who never compromised in his political or military stances, remaining committed to revolutionary action until the last moment of his life.
– Played a pivotal role in organizing, preparing, and actively participating in the development of the Popular Front’s military and security work.
– As a son of the village of Saffuriyya in occupied Palestine, he remained faithful to his dream of return and was always ready to answer the call, racing against time to be at the forefront, until the moment of his martyrdom.

Martyr Comrade Field Commander Abdel Rahman Abdel Aal

– One of the most prominent fighters of the Popular Front and its military wing, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, in Lebanon.
– Born in 1994, originally from the village of Al-Ghabsiyah in the Akka district of occupied Palestine.
Embodied the image of a fighter who never left the people of Nahr al-Bared Camp.
– He was the vigilant eye of Nahr al-Bared Camp, protecting his comrades and standing by them in every battle.
– Never turned his back on combat, nor abandoned his mission until the last moment.
– A courageous young fighter who dedicated his life to Palestine and his people.
– A symbol of sacrifice and dedication.
– Known for his passion and determination to join the military effort, he constantly emphasized the need to continue resistance as a strategic option until all rights are fully restored.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, while mourning its heroic leaders who have joined the long convoy of martyrs from our people, nation, and the free people of the world, reaffirms that their martyrdom will only increase its determination to continue the march toward the liberation of land, dignity, and humanity. It pledges that their pure blood will remain fuel igniting the flame of armed struggle until every inch of the homeland is liberated.
