India: Two Paramilitaries Killed in Maoist Ambush

Two members of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were killed and two policemen were injured after an IED was detonated by Maoist guerrillas in Chhattisgarh. It was around noon on Saturday, teams from the ITBP’s 53rd Battalion, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the District Reserve Guard were returning to Narayanpur after conducting an anti-guerrilla operation in Dhurbeda when they were ambushed near the village of Kodliyar in the Abujhmad region.
