Statement by the Palestinian Resistance Factions on the 78th Anniversary of the Nakba

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Nakba continues through killing, massacres, expulsion, discrimination, impoverishment, siege, starvation, international silence, and US partnership. What is happening in the Gaza Strip and all Palestinian territories is a chapter in the series of ethnic cleansing and genocide that has not stopped for 78 years of zionist oppression and brutality, revealing the nature of the zionist project as a colonial, racist, uprooting tool.
78 years since the Nakba of the Palestinian people have been enough to build a revolutionary, resistance-minded, and fighter generation that believes in freedom and aspires to be free from the injustice of the “israeli” enemy and the return of every displaced Palestinian to their homeland. Return is a right for us that does not expire with time, and we will not compromise our land, sanctities, and legitimate rights, regardless of the sacrifices. Our people and our fighters will rise from under the rubble to build their homeland and future anew.
Our struggle with the “israeli” entity is an ideological and existential struggle that will not be resolved except by wresting the full national rights of our people, at the heart of which is the right of return, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the entire national soil with Al-Quds as its capital.
The true response to the Nakba and its repercussions is to build a unified resistance front, formulate a comprehensive national strategy that adopts resistance in all its forms, led by armed struggle, and restore the Palestine Liberation Organization as a comprehensive and unified national framework, on the basis of partnership and in accordance with national consensus decisions, to cut off the path to the approach of monopoly and hegemony, and to invest the energies of our people in all places where they are present and enable them to express their will in resisting the enemy until liberation and return.
Targeting UNRWA in Gaza by destroying its facilities, targeting its employees, closing its institutions in Al-Quds, and preventing its work in the West Bank constitutes part of a systematic plan to liquidate the refugee cause.
We renew our call for the necessity of complete liberation from the Oslo Accords and their consequences, ending the commitments of the Authority resulting from it, stopping security coordination and all forms of pursuing the resistance, reversing all dangerous decisions regarding the allocations for the families of martyrs, prisoners, the wounded, and the liberated, and cutting off all forms of dependence on US-zionist projects and moving to build a unified, resistant, struggle-filled field that expresses the free Palestinian popular will.
We call on the masses of the nation, its peoples, its free people, and its living forces to rise up and confront the war of extermination against our people and our nation, to reject all forms of normalization with the “israeli” enemy, and to confront the project of new colonial hegemony and the plans to fragment the region.
