A statement from the leadership of the Islamic Resistance in Syria – The Bravest

To the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu:

Whilst the world listened tonight to your grandiloquent speeches and your emergency consultation sessions, which oozed confusion and existential bewilderment, we in the leadership of the Islamic Resistance could not help but smile at the spectacle of panic gripping your weak entity, as you attempt to pass off your latest incursion into Syrian territory as a heroic military epic, forgetting that everyone knows your soldiers would not dare take a single step without the groundwork of security coordination agreements and undeclared deals being carefully laid for them by the current de facto authority, which has willingly taken on the role of security guarantor and border guardian, devoting all its efforts to pursuing and dismantling the cells of the free resistance and stopping anyone who might think of attacking your settlements.

And herein lies the height of the farce and the ridiculous contradiction of your political manoeuvring; whilst you sign those secret deals with the de facto authority to secure your borders, you stick your neck out with unprecedented insolence, attempting to play on sectarianism to present yourself as the ‘protector and guarantor’ of our people and our brothers of Banu Mu’awiyah, the sect of the united and free Druze on Mount Arar, deceiving the people and trying to make them believe that you will protect them from the expansionism of the very same authority that guards your borders!

It is the same malicious and brazen Zionist ploy of peddling illusions of protection to the various factions in order to divide the national front and sow discord, whilst in reality you trade interests behind closed doors with that very same authority at the expense of everyone’s blood, and your dark history proves that your promises are nothing more than ink on paper that the wind scatters at the first gust, and that you are ready at any moment to abandon everyone and sell out your allies in cold blood once their usefulness has expired and you have secured your temporary security interests.

From the heart of the front, we declare to the Zionist regime and all those who back its so-called ‘security deals’ that the circle of temporary salvation you are attempting to weave – through coordination with the de facto authority to persecute the resistance, and through your failed attempts to divide the Syrian front with false promises of protection – is a lost cause, built against a wall on the verge of collapse.

The only and definitive solution dictated by the dignity of this land and the nature of this conflict does not lie in believing your lies, but in the widespread popular awareness that recognises the malice of your manoeuvres; the solution is for all factions and components of this homeland to overcome artificial differences and join hands and arms across the Syrian landscape in a cohesive front, to reject the expansion of the de facto authority and to confront the aggressive regime head-on, demonstrating to all that the southern region of Syria will remain indomitable and that only the strength of free men will have the final say and overturn the deals.
