Stop the Destructive Machinations of Imperialism!

It is obvious to everyone: under American imperialism and its instruments of banditry and recolonization—namely the United Nations (UN), the Organization of American States (OAS), and the latest arrival, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM)—each entity is complicit in the process of dismantling the Haitian nation.

Imperialism, under the pretext of helping Haiti, uses its targets as a double-edged sword to impose its political will and guarantee its economic interests. This crisis is unprecedented in the country’s history. It stems from the total failure of the opportunistic leadership within the traditional political class. It is the direct result of a compromise reached between a certain segment of the left and American imperialism, with the vassalized bourgeoisie, represented by the de facto Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, acting as an intermediary.

It is crucial that all Haitians who are aware of and committed to their principles, both at home and abroad, understand that the maneuvers of these institutions, which faithfully carry out the genocide of the people, have nothing to do with the fight against violence or insecurity, in any form whatsoever.

Indeed, the tearing apart of the national fabric and the ongoing conflagration of the nation are integral parts of the American neocolonial domination project in Haiti. This unprecedented situation, which we have been enduring in all its brutality for over twenty years, is entirely the product of an American laboratory designed to implement actions aimed not only at destabilizing the country but also at seizing its resources.

The objective, whether stated or not, is to maintain Haiti under neocolonial control in order to thwart the aspirations for change of the masses and to hinder the country’s progress toward a just, dignified, and prosperous society. It is in the name of this relentless struggle that the watchdogs of imperialism unite to block any popular initiative and any attempt to defend our national sovereignty.

In reality, the successive visits of the Secretaries-General of the UN or the OAS are nothing more than well-orchestrated charades, clearly aimed at creating the illusion of a willingness to help while gradually preparing the ground for their sordid plots. It is in this context that we must consider the announcement by the CARICOM Group of Eminent Persons (GEP) of an upcoming visit to Haiti to hold talks with political organizations, social groups, and government representatives.

Last week, during a visit to Haiti, UN Secretary-General António Guterres put forward a series of demagogic speculations aimed at continuing to deceive the Haitian people. These dramatic reversals keep the population waiting for a providential savior or economic aid from the so-called international community, even as the country sinks ever deeper into chaos.

The trap is obvious. This imperialist farce must end. Indeed, in a statement dated June 22, 2026, made during the presentation of the initial results of security cooperation between the European Union (EU), the OAS, and the Haitian authorities, the OAS Secretary General, Albert Ramdin, announced his intention to visit Haiti in the coming weeks. He plans to continue consultations with his willing accomplices: national authorities, political and social actors, as well as regional and international partners. It is clear that the decisions resulting from international meetings no longer fool anyone; for the imperialist powers, they are merely tools to control countries aspiring to national liberation.

Everything indicates that imperialism and its vassals are following a script designed to sabotage and destroy the country, and they have no qualms about doing so. The overall plan ensures that the working masses live in constant turmoil, under a regime of blatant terror and notorious instability, against a backdrop of imminent civil war and bloody score-settling in several impoverished neighborhoods, particularly in Cité Soleil.

In short, imperialism, the sworn enemy of the Haitian people, spares no effort to maintain or incite the criminal clashes that serve to justify the presence of the Gang Repression Force (FRG). Haiti is an enslaved country, a nation held hostage. The terror and banditry that reign there are the work of imperialism and its political lackeys, corrupt reactionaries imposed on power, at the risk of further exacerbating the multidimensional crisis ravaging the country.

From all this emerges a certainty that must be fully brought to light. The people must challenge these treacherous and ulterior motives in order to free themselves from this criminal control. Washington is using every means possible and has no interest in seeing Haiti stabilize or end the injustice. Such a situation would be completely contrary to its objectives, as it would allow the people to organize and overturn the chaos orchestrated at the highest level by imperialist barbarity. It is from this deplorable state of affairs that we want to escape, once and for all! And that is why we say to imperialism: “Cease these destructive machinations against the country.”
