Establishing a Jewish Antiquities Dept for the West Bank and Gaza is an Escalation in the Annexation and Judaization Project: DFLP

We emphasize the call for a national conference in the West Bank to confront the Israeli assault on our land and rights.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine described the Israeli project to form an antiquities department in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, affiliated with the Israeli ministry called the Ministry of Heritage, as an escalatory step, added to the rest of the steps, to work on annexing the largest occupied areas and Judaizing them, considering them as part of the State of Israel in the West Bank, which is called Judea and Samaria according to the Judaization project.
The Democratic Front said: The fascist Israeli occupation government has not stopped inventing annexation and Judaization projects at a remarkable pace and in a frantic race against time, from expanding settlements to grazing settlements, to “nature reserves”, to security zones, to bypass roads and others, which leads to the swallowing up of large areas of the West Bank, in the absence of a practical response from the official Palestinian side.
Likewise, the occupation authorities are expanding their control over the Strip by moving the temporary separation line called the “yellow line” westward in favor of the “orange line,” which has led to the expansion of the area of Israeli military control from 53% to 64% of the area of the Strip, while the fascist Israeli leadership, at the political and military levels, threatens to refuse to withdraw to the separation line with the settlements east of the Strip, and at the same time threatens to re-invade and invade what remains of the Strip, with pretexts and arguments that are nothing more than exposed colonial settlement ambitions.

The Democratic Front stated: In light of this colonial settlement expansion and the absence of any practical response from the official Palestinian side beyond press releases, we in the DFLP reaffirm our initiative to convene a Palestinian national conference in the West Bank. This conference would address the general situation, from settlement and annexation issues to the plundering of Palestinian funds and the obstruction of the clearance revenue transfer system, as well as the mass arrests and daily killings. The aim is to develop a national strategy that unifies the official and popular Palestinian position in the West Bank to confront the ongoing Israeli fascist colonial attacks, which are escalating dangerously day by day, threatening the Palestinian Authority’s jurisdiction over the land and people of the West Bank.
