Three US Soldiers Killed, Dozens Wounded by Iraqi Resistance, as Regional Operations Continue

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Sunday evening that three US soldiers had been killed, while at least 34 have been injured in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian border, marking a significant turning point in the Al Aqsa Flood struggle.

“On Jan. 28, three U.S. service members were killed and 25 injured from a one-way attack UAS that impacted at a base in northeast Jordan, near the Syria border,” CENTCOM said before adding that the identity of those killed while deployed will not be revealed for 24 hours.

Later, citing a US official, Reuters reported that The number of US soldiers injured in the drone attack in north East Jordan has risen to 34.

In turn, US President Joe Biden had condemned the attack calling it “wholly unjust,” ignoring the reality of the situation, with the US regime actively participating in a genocide in the region, while occupying and menacing milions throughout the region.

Biden has blamed “radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq,” likely referring to the Islamic Resistance in Iraq which announced earlier this month that they would escalate their attacks after the US conducted several raids in Iraq and assassinated a military official in central Baghdad.

The Wall Street Journal, citing a US official, reported that the attack targeted a military outpost in Jordan, which is Tower 22 near the Syrian border.

Citing a US military official, The Washington Post reported that the drone struck the living quarters at the base, causing injuries ranging from cuts, bruises, and brain injuries, some of which required medical evacuation.

On the other hand, CNN described the operation as “a major escalation,” noting that it is not clear why the air defenses failed to intercept the drone, noting that as of Friday, there had been more than 158 attacks on US and US-led coalition forces in Iraq and Syria.

The Iraqi Resistance stated that they have actually carried out 178 attacks on occupied lands since the conflict started. The Resistance also proclaimed that, “If the United States continues to support ‘Israel,’ there will be an escalation… All American interests in the region are legitimate targets.”

Iraqi Resistance announces 9 operations against US, Israeli forces

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq on Sunday claimed responsibility for nine operations that took place in the region targeting the US forces in Syria and Iraq, as well as the Zionist occupation forces in occupied Palestine.

The Islamic Resistance declared that it conducted a series of drone attacks on five enemy positions in the region. Among these, three were aimed at US occupation bases situated in Syria, specifically targeting al-Shadadi, al-Rukban, and al-Tanf.

The fourth strike was directed at a base near Erbil Airport in the Iraqi Kurdistan region.

The fifth operation was executed on the “Zevelun” naval facility in occupied Palestine. The nature and extent of the damage caused by these drone strikes remain undisclosed. There was also a drone attack at a military center near Khirbet Adnan in northwestern Syria. Targets in the Zionist entity were hit as well.

Palestinian Resistance continues

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, reported that its fighters engaged in fierce clashes with occupation forces using machine guns and heavy weapons in the infiltration axes of the city of Khan Younis.

Similarly, the martyr Omar al-Qassem Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), launched heavy mortar shells at the assembly points of the invading occupation vehicles.

The al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Mujahideen Movement, also attacked the Zionist “Raim” airbase with a barrage of rockets.

The al-Quds Brigades announced that they targeted occupation soldiers and their vehicles in the axes of confrontation southwest of Khan Younis using mortar shells.

Confrontations ongoing in Khan Younis, Gaza

To the west of Khan Younis, the al-Quds Brigades announced attacking an Merkava tank and an infantry fighting vehicle with RPGs.

In central Gaza, specifically east of the Maghazi camp, the supply line and the pathline of occupation vehicles were targeted with a barrage of rockets and mortar shells.

Meanwhile, the al-Mujahideen Brigades confirmed that its fighters targeted Zionist soldiers west of Beit Lahia, north of the Strip, with heavy caliber mortar shells

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced Saturday the targeting of a Merkava tank with an al-Yassin 105 charge in the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The Resistance also shared footage showing the world part of their operations as they targeted occupation forces’ vehicles across the city.

Moreover, the al-Qassam Brigades also released video footage showing several Zionist drones that had been downed and seized by their fighters in Gaza City.

Hezbollah hits multiple sites

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, continues to conduct military operations against the occupation enemy as the front along the Lebanese-occupied Palestinian border intensifies.

According to reports, the Resistance has announced the targeting of occupation forces in the “Tel Shuair” area with rockets, resulting in direct hits.

The Resistance also targeted occupation soldiers deployed in the vicinity of the Hounin and Ramim barracks using Burkan rockets, reporting it achieved direct hits.

Earlier in the day, the Resistance also targeted, with rockets, a Zionist military gathering east of the “Birket Risha” outpost marking direct hits.

In their statements, the Resistance emphasized that these operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their Palestinian Resistance.

Meanwhile, Zionist media reported heavy rocket launches into the western al-Jalil while reports state that in southern Lebanon there was the launching of a missile salvo towards the Upper al-Jalil in the direction of Hounin and “Kiryat Shmona”.

In parallel, Zionist occupation attacks against southern Lebanese villages and towns continue. Occupation warplanes carried out airstrikes on the outskirts of the towns of Maroun al-Ras, Ayta al-Shaab, al-Dhahirah, and Marwahin. Additionally, reports underscored that the occupation’s artillery targeted the town of Markaba with phosphorous shells.

Zionist officials: Hezbollah overtook the north in ‘simple effort’

Zionist officials have admitted that the Lebanese resistance, Hezbollah, has succeeded in emptying the settlements in northern occupied Palestine without the use of any force.

According to the officials, the occupation forces (IOF) commander of the northern region has received instructions not to escalate confrontations with the Lebanese resistance.

Reports state that several heavy missiles were launched from Lebanon in the late hours of Friday, hitting at least five occupation military sites, including barracks and gathering, in the occupied Western al-Jalil in Palestine in less than two hours.

Gershon Hacohen, a general in the IOF told occupation Channel 12 that Hezbollah succeeded through a “simple effort” of firing a few missiles and drones a day in preventing settlers from returning to their “homes.”

He also explained that Hezbollah has succeeded in keeping the confrontations at the border from turning into a full-blown war, explaining that the IOF commander in the north of occupied Palestine understood from the start that “Israel” was on the defensive and was required not to escalate in any way that would provoke a full-blown war.

A former Shin Bet official Dvir Karev told Zionist Channel 13 that the occupation is currently in its third war with Lebanon, and that Hezbollah has much more power than Hamas, both in weapons and in force.

He questioned whether the IOF’s power could be sufficient against Hezbollah and expressed hope that the confrontations would remain at a low level, acknowledging the many Zionist casualties.

As for the Chairman of the occupation Apilots union, Meidan Barr, he pointed out that there was a “developed military industry in the Middle East,” adding  “Who would have believed that they would develop missiles in Gaza and the West Bank?”

Barr described the published footage by Hezbollah as frightening, considering Hezbollah has missiles “like Burkan.”

Ansarallah address regional tensions

Ansarallah spokesman, Muhammed Abdul Salam addressed the US for its barbaric stance in the world in a statement today as well:

America and the rest of the Western group have filled the world with noise for more than a century about human rights and freedoms. In the face of the unprecedented tragedy of Gaza in modern history, the masks have fallen, and America, with its great power, has stooped to match the “israeli” savagery to the extent of preventing bread from reaching the people of Gaza by fighting against UNRWA. Faced with the starvation war against Gaza, anyone with a shred of dignity must support and advocate for the deprived in every possible way.

The suffering of the children and women of Gaza from hunger, thirst, cold, and deprivation of everything prompts the Yemeni Armed Forces to continue their operations against “israeli” ships and others heading to the ports of occupied Palestine. Neither America nor anyone else will be able to prevent Yemen from performing its humanitarian and moral duty towards the tortured people of Gaza.

We say to America: you have surpassed the Nazism of the Nazis and the fascism of the fascists. This bloody “israel” is nothing but one of the evils of America and Britain. You will not be able to subjugate this nation indefinitely.

Stop the war in Gaza. Enough with your Nazism, fascism, and savagery.
