HBDH Executive Committee Member Comrade Tekin; “We Aim for the 9th Fighting Year of the United Revolutionary Movement of the Peoples to be the ‘Year of Victory’ for Us”

As the United Revolutionary Movement of the Peoples, we declared our establishment in the Medya Defense Areas on March 12, 2016. At the same time in MSA, the establishment of HBDH in Istanbul / Gazi Neighborhood was announced by our militia. These 8 years we left behind were 8 years in which many prices were paid in terms of the struggle for the United Revolution of the Peoples, our comrades who were leaders were immortalized, we were positioned in important areas and positions of the struggle and we paid great prices to carry this struggle forward. In this sense HBDH, Turkey working class, laborers, Kurdish people, youth, is a movement of historical importance for women.

The formation of this movement is the expression of the unification of Turkey and Kurdistan revolution of the Denizler’s, Mahirler’s, Ibrahimi’s tradition of struggle in terms of its historical roots. HBDH organizing today to embrace the revolution in Turkey and Kurdistans revolution actually means embracing the struggle for a united revolution. Today Turkey’s working class, laborers, women, young people, more than ever before need the United Revolutionary struggle and the United Revolutionary organization. All kinds of attacks of fascism, all kinds of obstruction efforts do not deter us from the determination of our struggle for the United Revolution. HBDH in the past 8 years we left behind the mountains of Kurdistan from the mountains of the Black Sea mountains, Dersim Mountains, Turkey from the metropolis to the dungeons, in all areas of struggle the United Revolution raised the flag in the strongest way. Today, this determination of ours continues as persistent and as faithful as the first day.

AKP-MHP fascism goal to frustrate the attacks, continue the occupation attack on the territory of Kurdistan, and Turkey’s continued exploitation of the peoples, determines that our main goal is to defeat the policy of oppression. As we enter the 9th year of struggle, our goal is to ‘Destroy Fascism, Win Freedom’. We will continue to target the strongholds of AKP-MHP fascism, the strongholds of oppression with the determination of our United Revolutionary Fire. The strongholds of fascism, the dungeons of fascism will be broken and destroyed with the determination of the United Revolutionary action, with the insistence of the militants of united action! Today, we send our most revolutionary greetings to our guerrillas struggling in the mountains, our fighters organizing militia actions in the cities, our comrades resisting in prisons and all our comrades who pay new prices in all areas of struggle.

We aim for the 9th year of struggle of the United Revolutionary Movement of the Peoples to be the ‘year of victory’ for us. In this sense, it is our main duty to increase the HBDH actions in all the areas we are in, to raise the HBDH flag, and to insist on the United Revolution struggle with this determination. The voice of freedom of workers, laborers, youth, women, Kurdish people will not be suppressed by fascism. The existence of HBDH will continue to be the fearful dream of fascism. Our United Revolutionary Movement has created an important unity in its 8-year history of struggle. It also created an important comradeship. The struggle of Ulaş Bayraktaroğlu, Ulaş Adalı, Baran Serhat, Delal Amed, Nubar Ozanyan and many other comrades, whose names we will count, united in common struggle, their blood mixed with each other. In this sense, it created a common tradition of united revolutionary struggle and the will for a united revolution. In this sense, I would like to express once again that our promise to our immortal comrades is that we will uphold their ideals, that we will raise the flag of the United Revolution more strongly in the 9th Year of Struggle, that we will destroy fascism and win freedom.
