The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine holds the American administration and the war criminal Biden responsible for any step of the occupation to invade the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip under the pretext of “destroying the remaining resistance brigades in the city.”
The Front considers what was revealed by “Politico” newspaper that President Joe Biden’s administration would support a “limited” ground operation in Rafah indicates that the American administration is leading the aggression, is proceeding in supporting and legitimizing the zionist genocide war, and is striving with all its strength to market this criminal operation anticipated on the city of Rafah, to mitigate public opinion against it in a way that serves zionist propaganda.
The Front questioned: “What ‘limited’ operation is this criminal American administration talking about in a city densely populated with more than one and a half million Palestinian people? With this stance, the American administration is giving the occupation a license to commit new war crimes in Rafah, densely crowded with displaced people, and it confirms this administration’s insistence on supporting the entity in its aggression and prolonging the duration of the battle, which is a confirmation of the reality of the criminal colonial doctrine ingrained in the minds of the American administration.
The Front also refuted the lies about “destroying the remaining resistance brigades in Rafah,” emphasizing that the current field reality in the Strip affirms this lie, as the occupation sinks deeper into the quagmire of the Strip day by day, and the resistance is still present and fighting in all areas of the Strip from Beit Hanoun to Rafah, continuing to inflict significant losses on the zionist enemy.
The Front concluded its statement by affirming that Gaza will remain a curse haunting the American administration and the war criminal Biden, and a chronic nightmare on the occupation.
