Palestinian Resistance Fires Rocket Barrage, While Guerrillas Ambush Occupiers

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced that its Resistance fighters launched a rocket attack on the “Sderot” settlement.

“Al-Quds Brigades: Together with the forces of Omar al-Qassem, we carried out rocket attacks on Sderot and the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip in response to the crimes of the Zionist enemy against our people,” the Brigades confirmed in a statement on Telegram.

According to occupation media, eight rockets were launched from Gaza toward “Sderot”, simultaneously with sirens sounding in the area.

This comes as the Palestinian Resistance continues to confront occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, nearly six months since the occupation launched its wide-scale invasion into the besieged territory in late October.

On the 189th day, confrontations centered around the central Gaza Strip in the Nuseirat refugee camp, where occupation forces launched an operation into the area that it has not been able to infiltrate to this point.

The al-Quds Brigades also  announced that its fighters ambushed a large Zionist force, including three Merkava tanks and two D9 military-grade bulldozers. The force was lured into northern Nuseirat, where anti-tank explosive devices and mines were set off.

Al-Quds Brigades said that its fighters confirmed that soldiers were killed and injured in the ambush, which forced military rescue helicopters to land in the area of the attack and transport the casualties.

Resistance factions share poster signaling unity

In the context of ongoing confrontations against the occupation and its allies in the region, Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades’ Military Media unit shared a poster signifying these operations.

Concurrently, the Military Media units of the Axis of Resistance’s factions circulated the image on their official social media pages to reaffirm the unity of this region’s battlefields. Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, and the Yemeni Armed Forces all shared the poster on their respective channels.
