Zionist Regime Kills Tulkarem Brigade Commander During Raid, Resistance Retaliates

The commander of al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm Brigade, Mohammad Jaber (Abu Shujaa), was martyred Friday at the hands of Zionist occupation forces after they imposed a siege on the Nur Shams refugee camp for more than 18 hours.

The Brigades confirmed that its Resistance fighters are engaged in widespread defensive operations and fierce confrontations using machine guns and explosive devices against the raiding occupation forces on all axes, inflicting casualties among them.

The Zionist military said that an officer from the reserve forces, along with three other soldiers, were wounded in the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm, northwest of the occupied West Bank.

Ongoing confrontations between Palestinian Resistance fighters and occupation forces in the camp continued into the night. The occupation forces detained at least 10 Palestinians in the Nur Shams camp.

Reports state there werew violent explosions in the Nur Shams camp, where confrontations intensified as the occupation forces besieged the camp from all directions.

Al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm Brigade announced that its fighters in Nur Shams camp have been engaging the occupation forces on several axes since Thursday evening, with reports about an explosive device detonating in military vehicles raiding the camp.

Palestinian media outlets pointed out that the Zionist incursion resulted in massive destruction in the Nur Shams camp, with military bulldozers deliberately destroying shops there.

During the raid, the occupation forces detained Palestinian youths Asyad Taha and Alaa al-Tammouni from their homes in the Shweika suburb and al-Jarad neighborhood in Tulkarm city.

The occupied West Bank has been witnessing daily confrontations, especially since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, with its towns and cities subjected to daily Israeli raids accompanied by extensive detention campaigns.

In a brief statement, the Jenin Brigade said that its Resistance fighters targeted the Zionist”Salem” camp in response to the assassination of Jaber at the hands of the occupation forces.

This comes as the Tulkarm Brigade confirmed that its Resistance fighters continue to confront and target the raiding Israeli occupation forces with heavy gunfire and explosive devices.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 16-year-old Qais Fathi Nasrallah was killed at the hands of occupation forces in the Tulkarm refugee camp. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa mentioned that Nasrallah was martyred after being “shot in the head by Israeli live gunfire.”

Wafa also said that 30-year-old Salim Faisal Ghanem was killed by troops in the Nur Shams camp.

Local media also reported the martyrdom of Palestinian youths Jihad Zandiq and Ahmad al-Aref after being targeted by occupation forces’ gunfire in the camp.
