In conjunction with mass rallies in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, and amidst a large popular and factional presence led by the resistance factions, a large crowd of our steadfast people in Gaza participated tonight, Wednesday, in the joint popular rally organized by the “International Committees for Resistance against Aggression” in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross, under the slogan: “Our field is one… and our enemy is one”.
In a scene reflecting the interconnectedness of strategic paths in the region, the massive crowd affirmed the choice of resistance and the unity of destiny in the face of occupation, announcing that this popular movement, which encompasses Gaza and a number of countries in the resistance axis, embodies a new reality in the struggle of wills against Zionist-American hegemony.
Iyad Awadallah, a member of the General Central Committee of the Popular Front, delivered a speech on behalf of the resistance factions, beginning with a salute to the “comrades in arms in the resistance axis” and all the free forces confronting Zionist-American hegemony around the world.
Awadallah affirmed that the region is experiencing a historic moment, stressing that “the era of monopolizing one arena at the expense of others has passed irreversibly”.
He added that what the region is witnessing is a “strategic struggle of wills”, which has exposed the fragility of the Zionist-American alliance, and that the myth of the “invincible army” has been shattered on the rocks of Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen’s steadfastness.
Awadallah specifically mentioned the martyred commander Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Revolution, praising his role in building the resistance edifice and saluting the leaders and officers of the Iranian army and Revolutionary Guards, expressing the confidence of the Palestinian resistance factions that Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, the new Supreme Leader, possesses the will and resilience to continue leading this decisive battle.
In light of the developments, the Palestinian resistance factions defined their vision in the speech by affirming the equation of consolidating the unity of arenas, noting that this is no longer a political slogan, but has become a solid reality on the ground, where any attack on any country in the resistance axis is considered a direct aggression on Palestine.
The resistance factions praised the decisive Iranian response to the targeting of the suburbs and the Zionist-American aggressions, affirming that Tel Aviv, Haifa, and all other cities and sites of occupation have become direct targets, while praising Hezbollah’s qualitative strikes that have made the northern front a strategic burden on the occupation.
The speech valued the role of the Yemeni armed forces, which have imposed exceptional equations and become a “safety valve” cutting off the supply lines to the Zionist entity and the Western colonialist.
The factions affirmed Iran’s full right to establish its absolute sovereignty over its territories and resources, and to break the siege imposed on it, considering that this project represents an existential threat to the stability of the region and its wealth, and that its defeat is a supreme interest of the peoples aspiring for liberation.
The resistance factions warned that “patience has its limits”, affirming that the occupation has not abided by the ceasefire agreement for a single day.
The factions announced their commitment to any framework agreed upon in Cairo that serves the interests of the people and stops the aggression, calling on the mediators to rein in the “arrogant Zionist enemy”, stressing that Netanyahu is interested in escalating his miserable election propaganda, while in reality he is pushing his entity towards a “resounding and inevitable fall”.
He concluded by saying: “The voice of Gaza, Jerusalem, southern Lebanon, Sana’a, Iran, and all our fronts will remain loud, announcing the coming dawn of freedom, where resistance alone achieves the definitive victory”.
