The spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Mohammed Al-Haj Musa, confirmed, coinciding with the start of the funeral procession for the leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, His Eminence Sayyed Ali Khamenei, that this great martyrdom merges the blood of the Axis leaders with the blood of the fighters of Palestine, and reflects the unity of the battle and destiny in confronting the common enemy.
Al-Haj Musa explained, in a statement to the “Palestine Today” channel today, Saturday, that the late leader represented a fundamental pillar in supporting the Palestinian people; as everything provided over decades of military, logistical, and political support to the resistance forces was based on a direct decision from him and a firm commitment to the battle of liberation.
He added: “His Eminence the Leader represented a wise, unifying leadership figure and a staunch defender of the nation’s sovereignty in the face of hegemony projects.”
Al-Haj Musa indicated that the continuous rallying around and support for the Palestinian cause represents the fundamental pillar and the only way to unite the ranks of the Islamic and Arab nation, given the central dimensions and unifying religious status that this cause carries.
In his discussion regarding the steadfastness of the Iranian leadership and the Iranian people in the face of the US-“israeli” aggression, Al-Haj Musa said that “Iran stood defending its sovereignty and dignity, and the causes of the entire nation, and it was able to break the prestige of the United States while it was at the height of its hegemony over the world.”
He added: “We are not stating slogans, but expressing what we believe in. We are integrated with all the resistance forces, rallying around one another, fighting in the Axis of Resistance in a single rank. It is a delusion for anyone to think that the spirit of Sayyed Khamenei has departed, for the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine is increasing in capability day after day, the path is ongoing, and our attachment to our right to our land and our sanctities is firm and unshakable. As for this precious blood, despite the burning it leaves in hearts, it grants us more resolve and determination to cause pain to the occupation, and blesses the path of resistance.”
