Our people are fighting a battle to defend their existence… to thwart plans for liquidation and displacement, and to protect the right of return, by escalating resistance and restoring unity. To our brave Palestinian people in the homeland and the diaspora, The Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine held a regular meeting to follow up on the latest developments in the ongoing aggression and war of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, as well as regional and international developments and their impact on the Palestinian issue and the conflict.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Political Bureau extended its condolences to the families of our martyrs, and to the wounded, prisoners, and our national leader, the Secretary-General of the Front, prisoner Ahmed Saadat, and to our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the territories occupied in 1948, and to the masses of our people in refugee camps and the diaspora, and to supporters of the just Palestinian cause, emphasizing that the legendary resilience and great sacrifices of our people will remain the foundation for continuing the struggle until all their national rights are achieved.
The Political Bureau believes that our people are fighting a battle to defend their existence, as they are facing a war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, along with plans for annexation, settlement, and displacement in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and attempts to dismantle and empty the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) of its substance, directly targeting the right of return and the issue of refugees. This reveals that what is happening is not separate measures, but rather parts of a comprehensive project to liquidate the Palestinian issue and reshape its political and demographic reality.
In the Gaza Strip, the crimes of the occupation continue, including shelling, destruction, assassinations, and daily violations, despite the ceasefire agreement. In addition, there is a continued disruption of the opening of crossings, the entry of aid, and the obstruction of reconstruction, in an attempt to keep our people under the yoke of siege, death, and destruction, and to impose new realities on the ground. The Political Bureau affirmed that the resistance forces have done everything possible to stop the aggression, and we are now in the final stages of an agreement that will end the war of genocide and allow for the start of reconstruction. However, this requires continuing and escalating pressure on the occupation to ensure the implementation of the agreement and to prevent it from reneging on it.
In the West Bank and Jerusalem, settlement activities, land seizure, and attacks by settlers are escalating, with the protection and encouragement of the occupation army and government, which clearly reveals a systematic policy aimed at uprooting our people from their land and imposing a new colonial reality at the expense of their existence and national rights. In the occupation prisons, the policy of repression and abuse against the prisoners is escalating, including starvation, torture, isolation, and medical neglect, as well as the passage of a so-called law to execute prisoners, which confirms the occupation’s continued policy of systematic killing and liquidation against prisoners, in a blatant violation of international laws and norms. The Political Bureau affirmed that the continued division among Palestinians represents one of the most prominent weaknesses in the national situation, which deprives our people of mobilizing their energies to confront the occupation and benefiting from the wave of international solidarity against the war of genocide and the crimes of the occupation.
Regionally, the Political Bureau believes that the renewed and escalating aggression by the US-Zionist alliance against Iran, and the ongoing attacks on Lebanon and Syria, are part of the colonial onslaught on the region and its people. It praised all efforts to confront this brutal colonial onslaught, calling for the unification of forces for liberation and against colonialism and hegemony in the face of this path.
In light of this ongoing brutal escalation by the alliance of colonial aggression, the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms the following:
First: There is no alternative to the unity of all national forces in order to escalate popular and national resistance in all its legitimate forms, and to build a broader popular and organizational base to confront settlement, displacement, and land confiscation, and to form and strengthen popular protection committees in cities, villages, and camps, and to provide all the elements of resilience, support, and relief to our people, especially in the areas most exposed to the attacks of the occupation and the settlers.
Second: The full and complete implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip is necessary, including the opening of crossings, the entry of aid, and the immediate entry of the administrative committee to the Strip to assume its tasks. We reject any form of external guardianship or hegemony over our people, and we emphasize that this cannot be achieved without obligating the occupation to implement the provisions of the ceasefire agreement.
Third: The reconstruction of the Palestinian political system, and any genuine democratic and national path, must begin with a comprehensive and responsible national dialogue that leads to an agreement on a unified national strategy to confront the occupation, and to rebuild the Palestine Liberation Organization on democratic foundations, with the participation of all national forces and sectors, and to hold comprehensive elections that ensure genuine national and popular representation.
Fourthly: Intensifying efforts to support the Palestinian prisoners, especially the female prisoners and male prisoners, including the Secretary-General of the Popular Front, Comrade Ahmed Saadat, at all Arab and international levels, exposing the crimes of the occupation against them, particularly torture, starvation, isolation, and medical neglect, and continuing efforts to secure their release.
Fifthly: Protecting UNRWA from all liquidation and undermining schemes, and continuing to defend the right of return as a national, historical, and legal right that is non-negotiable, and rejecting any projects for settlement, displacement, or the liquidation of the issue of refugees.
Sixthly: Expanding campaigns of boycott and international isolation against the occupation, intensifying legal and political efforts to prosecute those responsible for war crimes and crimes committed against our people, and holding the occupation and its supporters accountable before international institutions and courts.

The Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that our struggle today is a struggle for survival and existence. Confronting the unprecedented Zionist crimes and thwarting liquidation and displacement schemes can only be achieved by escalating resistance, restoring national unity, strengthening the resilience of our people, protecting the cause of refugees and the prisoners’ movement, and expanding the circle of international isolation against the occupation. Our people, who have thwarted projects of displacement and liquidation for decades, and who have made great sacrifices in defense of their land and their national and historical rights, are capable of thwarting this new project, no matter how heinous the crimes or how widespread the conspiracies.
Glory to the martyrs, healing to the wounded, freedom to the prisoners, and return to the refugees. We will undoubtedly be victorious.
